Chris Pratt Shares Injury in Lighthearted Video

Chris Pratt had fans laughing this week even as he poked fun at a recent ankle injury, using humor to share an update while celebrating his beloved Seattle Seahawks’ big news.

“The Guardians of the Galaxy” star posted a light-hearted video to social media on Thursday, January 29, that not only showed off his quirky foot ability but also referenced his injury — all while cheering on the team’s Super Bowl berth.

Pratt’s Hilarious Caption

Pratt playfully showcased his swollen right foot, spreading his toes unusually wide, which caused his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger to start laughing at the humorous moment.

His caption tied the injury and the Seahawks’ success together in a humorous way, celebrating perseverance and sticking with challenges.

“What do my ankle and I have in common with the Seahawks? We’ve always been dreamers,” he wrote, comparing both his recovery and the team’s journey.

The 46-year-old continued, ““Did I jack up my ankle BAD on the set of MERCY. Yes. Did that stop us? No. Did the Seahawks make the playoffs in 2024? They did not. But just like me and my ankle, which now cracks when I walk, the Seahawks DREAM BIG!”

“Katherine never wanted this video to see the light of day,” he quipped, before declaring with trademark enthusiasm — “CANNOT CAGE THE CLAW!” — a nod to Seahawks fandom.

Throughout the funny video, you can hear Katherine try to tell Pratt to stop recording his foot, as he then pans over the her covering her face.

He added that his wife previously told him that she wanted to throw up looking at his swollen foot.

This funny approach comes after Pratt sustained the ankle injury while filming his sci-fi thriller “Mercy.”

Pratt Previously Showed Off His Injury

According to a previous social media post, he sprained his ankle early in production during a scene in which his character is arrested, kicking high in a take that unfortunately struck a metal post on set.

While the Seahawks prepare to face the New England Patriots at Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026, his video has become a cheerful joke among followers, tying together sports excitement with his ongoing journey back from injury.

Fans were quick to react to Pratt’s post.

Actor Taylor Lautner wrote, “I’m going to dream about the claw tonight you just watch.”

Many just celebrated the Seahawks going to the Super Bowl.

While some, jokingly said they were going to post his feet to wikiFeet.
