The Legacy of Gilmore Girls

“Gilmore Girls” aired from 2000 to 2007, starring Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel as mother-daughter duo Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, navigating life in the small, quirky town of Stars Hollow. The beloved series returned in 2016 with Netflix’s “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life,” which ended on a cliffhanger when Rory revealed she was pregnant.
Fans have spent years speculating about the identity of the father, a secret still known only to creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino and a handful of cast members.
Executive producer Adam F. Goldberg, along with producer Jim Demonakos, says “Searching For Stars Hollow” will dive into how the show was made, why it continues to resonate, and how it built a devoted global fan base. “This documentary is for fans of the show but also for anyone with an interest in cultural history and how it affects individual lives,” Demonakos said.
Production is ongoing, and more details about the documentary are available on Kickstarter.
