Hilarious Reality Of ‘Twin Toddlers’
The image captured what she called the “reality of traveling with twin toddlers,” showing her pushing a suitcase while one of her 2-year-old twins sat on top, holding the handles with tiny determination.
Hilary, dressed in tan wide-legged pants, a blue tee, and a large diaper backpack, looked like every multitasking mom on the move. Her toddler wore a baby blue tee, striped pants, & pink socks and shoes—an airport look with maximum cuteness.
She tagged some of her travel favorites like Shay Mitchell’s Beis & Jessica Alba’s Honest Company, adding cheekily: “cutest co-pilot (not for sale).”
Hilary Rarely Shares Photos of Her Twins
Swank has been intentional about keeping her children out of the spotlight. While she rarely posts photos of them, she’s been open about her journey to motherhood and how freezing her eggs in her late 30s helped ease the pressure.
“I would have had kids earlier,” she told Women’s Health in April. “I’m not saying I actively waited until 47. But that was a magical time in my life, when it all culminated. It was the right time for a myriad of reasons.”
Hilary Says She’s a Very Different Parent Now
Reflecting on motherhood, the “Boys Don’t Cry” actress says becoming a parent later in life has changed her approach entirely.
“I’m a very different parent than I would’ve been, even in my early 40s,” she explained. “I’m much more patient. I’m much more understanding. I am much more, I think, interested in a different way than I would’ve been.”
She emphasized that parenting today feels more mindful and emotionally present than it might have been earlier in her life.
Why She’s All In on Being a Hands-On Mom
With her career well-established, Swank shared that she’s been able to dedicate herself to parenting fully, something she’s deeply grateful for.
“I’m really interested in their brains,” she shared. “I’m fascinated about what makes them tick. And I have my career that’s already established, so I’m not divided. I’m able to really sink in and be present with them and be a hands-on parent.”
