Even amid the heartbreak and loss, the Travoltas pressed onward. Today, John Travolta and his surviving children, Ella and Benjamin, enjoy many hobbies together as a family.

In a new Instagram video, Ben Travolta revealed his athletic prowess on the ski slopes. See the video and why some fans believe he has an Olympic career in his future.

John Travolta’s Youngest Son Ben Loves a Challenge on the Slopes

John Travolta and Kelly Preston welcomed their son Benjamin shortly after their eldest child Jett passed away. Jett will always have an important place in the Travolta family’s lives, even as the family continued onward.

It quickly became apparent that Benjamin Travolta was an incredibly talented child, too. At just 15, he’s an accomplished skier and can tackle even the most difficult slopes with ease. In a new video, he proudly showcased his abilities.

“Loving my @1000skis in verbier. #1000skis #switzerland #skiing,” the 15-year-old shared on Instagram, attaching an exciting video of a great adventure down the slopes, leaving fans in awe.

Many Instagram users commented on Ben Travolta’s talent, with several suggesting that he could be in the Olympics someday.

“Ben is so talented!!! 👏🏼💪 He could do stunts in movies, he’s that good 👏🏼 Stay safe & healthy🙏” one fan wrote.

The Family Grew Closer Together Amid the Tragedies

Losing Jett Travolta and Kelly Preston completely rocked the family. However, patriarch John Travolta knew he needed to be strong for his surviving children.

In 2021, he spoke with Kevin Hart on his talk show, “Hart to Heart,” about the tremendous difficulties his family experienced.

Benjamin lost his mother at such a young age and began to worry about losing his father, too. The 72-year-old did his best to explain to Ben that Kelly Preston was very ill. But at the end of the day, John Travolta was forced to explain the unpredictabilities of life.

“I said, ‘But you know, Ben, you always love the truth and I’m going to tell you the truth about life. Nobody knows when they’re gonna go or when they’re going to stay,'” the “Grease” actor recalled the conversation to Kevin Hart.

“Your brother [Jett] left at 16. Too young. Your mother left at 57. That was too young. But who’s to say?” Travolta continued. “I could die tomorrow. You could. Anybody can… So let’s look at it like it’s part of life. You don’t know exactly. You just do your best at trying to live the longest you can.”

At 15, Ben Travolta still has an incredibly long life ahead of him. Whether he chooses to pursue professional skiing or another talent, he knows his family supports him wholeheartedly. Fans are excited to see where the young man heads next.
