Osbourne spoke to Hello! Magazine in August 2026, opening up not only about the harsh comments she’s been forced to navigate, but also about living through grief following the death of Ozzy. Regarding the public scrutiny, she said, “How can you navigate something so cruel when you’re so sick? I’m getting a lot better. I’ve got all the help I need, and I’m grateful for the support I have in my life.”

After that, regarding how she’s coped with what she has called the hardest year of her life, Osbourne stated that she has a “team of people” around her who offer their support. According to her, “[They] are not just my friends. Because what you’ll find when you’re grieving is that people don’t know how to handle it, and you do lose a lot of friends. But the ones who stick around are the real ones.”

Osbourne then discussed some of the ways she’s gone about improving her life amid grief and other personal struggles, including her breakup with Sid Wilson, and how it’s an ongoing battle. She explained, “You’ve got to fix the head before you can fix the body. … It’s going to take me a minute. I’m not going to be fixed in a day. I’m not going to be fixed [in] one therapy session. This is a lifetime of work I’ve got to do and continue to do for the rest of my life.”

The former talk show host then said that her current mindset is “a lot more healthy,” before stating that she’s in the process of getting to know herself “in a whole new way.”

Kelly Paid Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne One Year After His Death

Osbourne took to social media on July 22, 2026, one year after Ozzy’s death, to pay tribute to the late rocker. She did so by posting an emotional letter. She started on Instagram, “One year ago today, the world changed forever.”

The grieving daughter continued, “Today I sit here beside you in a way I never thought would be possible. I know you are still with me. I feel you in the quiet, in the wind, in every song that stops me in my tracks, is the smell of your cologne, and in every moment that love outweighs grief. You are all around me.”

After that, she discussed the “hardest part” of losing Ozzy, which wasn’t that he “was gone.” Instead, according to her, “The hardest part is that I can’t touch you. I can’t hold your hand. I can’t wrap my arms around you or feel the safety that only you could give me.”

Osbourne concluded, “Everything you warned me would happen, happened. But I want you to know that I listened. I did everything you told me to do, and I will continue to follow your words for the rest of my life. Your voice still guides me every day.”
