’24’ Star Kiefer Sutherland Shares Heartbreaking News with Fans

“24” star Kiefer Sutherland is forced to cancel his remaining tour dates in the U.S. after reportedly failing to meet ticket sales expectations.

The actor and musician, 59, took to Instagram on Friday to announce the sad news to his fans.

“With great disappointment, I am going to have to cancel the US leg of my tour due to very low ticket sales,” Sutherland wrote. “I don’t think it’s fair to the people who have bought tickets, or the venues, to play to have empty houses. I look forward to touring the United States again at a more suitable time.”

The “Designated Survivor” star asked fans for their understanding and assured those who already bought tickets that refunds would be available at the point of purchase.

Kiefer Sutherland’s Latest Album ‘Grey’

Kiefer Sutherland, who has been promoting his upcoming fourth studio album, “Grey,” is currently wrapping up the final stretch of the European leg of his “Love Will Bring You Home Tour.”

The tour, which kicked off in April, marks the actor’s first full tour schedule since 2024.

The canceled U.S. leg of his tour included scheduled stops in Los Angeles, Boston, and Phoenix.

Sutherland’s latest album is set for release on May 29. On his official website, the actor revealed that it was recorded over a two-year period.

“To begin, I want to express how happy and excited I am to be releasing my fourth album, ‘Grey,'” the actor wrote. “The songs were written and recorded over a two-year period from 2024 to 2026. In many ways these songs mark a growth for me personally, as I wrote less about observations and more about personal feelings that I have been navigating in my own life. New single ‘Simpler Time’ is a reflection on my youth and the memory of a time that felt more reliable culturally, socially, and politically. I am aware that the memory of one’s youth is often seen through rose-tinted glasses, but in this instance, personally, I don’t think so.”
