Martial arts actor Bruce Leung Siu-lung passed away at the age of 77, surrounded by loved ones, according to multiple reports.
His career spanned 50 years, rising to fame in the 1970s, with his last onscreen appearance in 2020. He initially retired from acting in 1988, but he returned to the screen in 2004.
His movies include “Magnificent Bodyguards,” “The Dragon Lives Again,” “Kung Fu Hustle,” and many others.

Jackie Chan, who worked with Bruce Leung Siu-lung on the 1978 movie “Magnificent Bodyguards,” shared a touching tribute.
“In my memory, he was always a kung fu master, proficient in many traditional martial arts, each with its own unique style,” Chan said (per the Daily Mail). “He devoted his life’s learning to film and television, becoming an outstanding action director.”
“He created so many classic roles, loved by audiences and admired by colleagues,” he continued. “Brother Leung, it’s snowing in Beijing. The sky is grey. I miss you.”
