Nina Dobrev is proving that life after heartbreak can still look glamorous. Just a week after news broke of her split from Olympic snowboarder Shaun White, “The Vampire Diaries” star was spotted soaking up the sun with friends on a scenic getaway, turning heads with her chic swimsuit style and carefree energy.
Soaking Up the Sun
Dobrev, 36, was seen enjoying a relaxing day on the water with close friend Keleigh Teller, wife of actor Miles Teller, on Thursday, September 18.
Keleigh shared photos on her Instagram page, which showed the two lounging around in sexy swimsuits. The photos included the duo wearing one-pieces while on a boat. There is also a cheeky back view of them raising their glasses.
Dobrev was sporting a black swimsuit with a cutout showing off her abs. Meanwhile, Keleigh was rocking a plunging striped suit, with the pair coordinating their outfits with bucket hats and sunglasses.
The photos also showed Nina Dobrev wearing a tiny floral bikini while Keleigh was wearing a cherry red spaghetti-strap suit.
Keleigh captioned the carousel of photos with “💌☀️🍝🌊.” Included in that carousel of photos were shots of the pair all glammed up while wearing floral dresses. In the background, posing behind them were Miles, Chase Crawford, and Zac Efron.
Nina Dobrev & Shaun White Split
The social media update comes just one week after it was confirmed that Dobrev and White, 39, called off their engagement after being together for five years.
At that time, PEOPLE stated, “it was a mutual decision, and wasn’t an easy one, but it was made with love and a deep respect for one another.”
PEOPLE reported that Nina Dobrev wanted to get married and start a family, but White wasn’t on the same page. Dobrev has been “supported by family” during the breakup. She has been traveling out of the country, which we can now see in the photos above.
Dobrev and White were first romantically linked back in 2020. However, it was later revealed that the couple started dating in late 2019. White proposed to the actress at a New York City restaurant in October 2024.
Leading up to the news of their split, Dobrev was seen without her engagement ring at the “Eternity” premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
While the breakup is fresh, Dobrev seems to be enjoying some quality time with friends and soaking up those rays while we still can.
