A Life of Awareness & Advocacy
Allen utilized her TikTok platform to raise awareness about her rare illness while offering hope to others. In April 2020, she revealed she had been diagnosed with stage 3 synovial sarcoma after doctors discovered a tumor in her knee.
Through videos documenting her chemotherapy, radiation, and tumor extractions, she showed both the struggles and the small victories. By the following year, she went into remission. Sadly, months later, her CT scans revealed the cancer had spread to her lungs, advancing her illness to stage 4.
โSynovial sarcoma is so under researched that the numbers change all the time,โ she explained in one TikTok. โOfficially, I have a 15 percent chance of being alive for five years after being diagnosed with stage 4. Me, however, Iโm gonna be different. Iโm putting that out in the universe.โ
Tributes From Family & Friends
Allenโs mother and caretaker, Sabina, also honored her daughterโs memory by sharing heartfelt moments, including a video of the two enjoying a Megan Thee Stallion concert together.
Throughout her journey, Allen leaned on her loved ones for strength. โHonestly, itโs hard a lot of the days,โ she admitted in one of her most-watched videos. โBut being with family, being with friends, and focusing on what matters really grounds you. Even though I have this rare cancer, I still want to live my life.โ
Her words resonated deeply with her followers, with one TikTok video about her diagnosis reaching more than 2.7 million viewers.
Her Lasting Legacy
Though Allenโs life was tragically cut short, her message of resilience continues to inspire. She encouraged her followers to seek joy and meaning even in lifeโs most challenging moments.
โA lot of people ask me how I stay so positive, how I donโt give up,โ she said in one post. โAnd honestly, itโs hard a lot of the days. But being with family, being with friends, focusing on what matters really grounds you.โ
For the thousands of fans she touched, Allenโs courage and positivity remain a reminder to live fully, love deeply, and never lose hope.
