Lara Flynn Boyle made a rare public appearance in Los Angeles over the weekend.
According to photos published by Page Six, the largely reclusive actress was spotted walking her rescue dog, Shrimp, while smoking a cigarette during a casual outing in the city.
Boyle dressed comfortably for the walk, wearing a gray sweatshirt featuring the word “Irish,” paired with khaki pants and sneakers.
The appearance marked another uncommon sighting for the former “Twin Peaks” star, who has kept a low public profile in recent years.
Boyle was last photographed publicly in June 2025 while walking her dog near her Bel Air neighborhood.
At the time, she briefly stopped to speak with a neighbor before returning home.

The actress later appeared in several major films, including “Wayne’s World” and “Men in Black II.”

“We’re not hanging out,” Boyle clarified. “But he was a huge part of my life.”
“That is seven years of great times, it’s seven years of wonderful,” she added.
The pair initially dated from 1999 to 2001 before later being photographed vacationing together in St. Tropez in 2006.
Boyle eventually married Texas real estate developer Donald Ray Thomas in 2006.
During the same interview, Boyle also dismissed a long-circulated story shared by her former boyfriend, David Spade, regarding Nicholson allegedly asking her out in front of him.
“That never happened,” Boyle said. “Never happened.”

“I never wanted to bow out,” Boyle told People in 2024.
“Any moment I was feeling down or sorry for myself, I made sure I did not complain.”
Boyle also discussed difficult experiences she faced within the entertainment industry before the rise of the #MeToo movement.
“I’ve been in situations that were not called for,” Boyle explained.
“I’ve walked out of meetings and had repercussions for it. We all go through it.”
