Of course, this meant that Cohen found these four Housewives the most influential of the franchise. While his picks may be iconic, fans were left divided.
Andy Cohen Names His ‘Real Housewives’ Icons
Andy Cohen may have sparked a small debate within the Bravoverse when he named four “Real Housewives” he believed deserved a spot on his Mount Rushmore. While chatting to the audience during an episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” Cohen was asked to reveal which women he considered iconic enough to be etched into his own mountain.
“Let’s see, Housewives Mount Rushmore. I’m going to say, wow, Luann [de Lesseps], Kandi [Burruss], Kyle [Richards], Teresa [Giudice],” Cohen shared.
The Instagram page @thereality.report posted the clip, and several fans chimed in with their opinions. Many of the commenters couldn’t believe that Cohen did not name a single star from “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” the franchise that started it all back in 2006.
“I’m not a Vicki [Gunvalson] fan but Vicki started all of this,” a user wrote. “She has to be up there!” Of course, others gave their own Mount Rushmore picks, including one commenter, who wrote, “Vicki, Nene [Leakes], Teresa, Bethany [sic] [Frankel].”
Cohen Names Luann De Lesseps His Spirit Animal
GettyIn Cohen’s conversation with the audience, the host was also asked which Housewives star he believed was his spirit animal. At first, it was a tough question for Cohen to answer, given that there are several to choose from.
However, it wasn’t a surprise when Cohen chose a Housewife from “The Real Housewives of New York City,” naming de Lesseps as his spirit animal. Fans know that he’s particularly fond of the ladies of the Big Apple (particularly the women of earlier seasons) and calls Manhattan home.
Back in 2022, when Cohen participated in a round of “Ask Andy” on his show, an audience member asked which Housewife most inspired the host. Any guesses on his answer?
“Well, I think Luann’s has been really surprising,” he shared, adding, “I think Teresa’s has been really surprising. I think Kenya [Moore] had a really surprising … the fact that now she is a single mom, raising a kid, I think that’s something she really wanted season one…”
And, when it comes to which Housewives installment he would see himself in? Well, that was also a given. “New York,” he simply stated.
