Bella Hadid is starting a new chapter for the new year, according to a January 26 Page Six report that says she has split up with her champion horse rider boyfriend, Adan Banuelos. The outlet they learned about he split from sources who said the pair had a “tumultuous” on-again-off-again relationship.
GettyBella is the 29-year-old daughter of former “RHOBH” star Yolanda Hadid and the sister of fellow supermodel Gigi Hadid. Bella and Gigi made frequent appearances on the show as part of Yolanda’s storyline.
The outlet says they were also told the split has been complicated by the fact that Bella and Adan have made some joint business investments, purchasing million-dollar horses together.
GettyPage Six says they first heard rumblings of relationship trouble in June, but 4 months later, Adan enthusiastically celebrated the pair’s anniversary in October. He captioned a sweet set of photos, “October’s become a special month. It’s the month God sent you. Even with all the chaos and ugliness, He gave us something pure and beautiful. Love you, baby. I’ll keep reminding you every day just how much.”
Bella replied to her beau in the comments, “Baby I love you, thank you my bub. This is the sweetest ever.”
However, the report suggests things took a turn in December, when Bella wasn’t spotted anywhere near Adan while attending one of his events. By the end of the month, Page Six says sources were saying the pair was over, and Bella took a holiday trip without the 36-year-old horse trainer.

Bella was first linked to Adan in September 2023, after they met at a horse show in Fort Worth, Texas. In an interview the following year, he told W magazine how that first meeting went. And if I would’ve known, I probably would’ve stuttered my way right out it.”

The day the breakup hit the news, Adan was active on social media but he didn’t say anything that appeared to be aimed at Bella. Instead, he stayed focused on his horses. He took to his Instagram Stories to show off an intricately braided mane on one of his horses and wrote, “Arctic storm or not, the drip never takes a backseat.”
Then, he reposted a throwback video from a TikTok page of his himself riding in the ring, declaring, “No stirrup, no problem.” He then shared another old video, writing, “Cold weather’s got us on standby. Until then, here’s a look back at some good ones.”
