During the Oct. 21 episode of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” Britani Bateman meets with her daughter, Olivia, at a local coffee shop, marking an emotional reunion. After a psychic reading in the previous episode, Bateman made it her mission to reconnect with her estranged daughter.
It was certainly one of the season’s toughest moments to watch as Olivia opened up to her mother about their fractured bond. Bateman promised to work on rebuilding their relationship, leaving fans hopeful that the two are on the road to healing.

“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” season 6, episode 6, stepped away from the drama between the women for a moment as Britani Bateman focused on repairing her once-tight bond with her now 20 year old daughter, Olivia.
It was a highly emotional moment for both mother and daughter, as Olivia told Bateman she knew “nothing” about her and admitted she was afraid of being “hurt again.” Olivia shared that she had not felt like a priority in her mother’s life. Through tears, Bateman vowed to change and be a better mother moving forward.
On Instagram, Olivia shared a video of her watching back the tearful scene with her mother. She captioned her post, “Feeling so many things watching this back. For those who have felt the same, I see you and love you.”
In the comment section, Bateman’s RHOSLC co-star, Heather Gay, wrote, “You both were amazing and so real.”
Bateman responded to Gay’s comment, “@heathergay thank you. So hard to watch tonight. Heartbreaking feeling so grateful to at least be talking again and starting to rebuild.”
Bateman & Her Daughter’s Relationship Today
The emotional reunion between Bateman and her daughter seemed to mark a new chapter in their relationship. On Instagram, Olivia has hinted that they have built a better bond over the year, sharing several sweet photos with her mom.
In March, Olivia reshared Bateman’s birthday post to honor her 20th birthday. The reality star shared throwback photos of her and Olivia dancing.
“Happy 20th Birthday my sweet baby love @oliviabrookebateman Oh, how time flies…From this little 9 year old girl you’ve grown up into the most driven, smart, kind & beautiful young woman. I’m so proud of you,” her caption read.
In June, Olivia shared a selfie with her mom as she traveled to Los Angeles, and the following month, she attended Bravo’s Las Culturistas Culture Awards as her mother’s date. “Had a blast,” her caption read.
