“Real Housewives of New Jersey” may be closer to going into production for season 15. This is the case as Teresa Giudice has reunited with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga. Now, they’re opening up about what led to the reconciliation.
Gorga appeared on Giudice’s “Turning the Page” podcast on January 21. When asked how he felt when his sister reached out, he said, “It was happiness. I was just happy. Definitely relief. It just felt really good. I was just waiting for that call, I really was.
I just said, ‘she’ll call one day. She’ll call.’ I realized that. Because I was waiting for you to call. It’s up to you. So it was your call. And I waited, and it was great.”
Gorga was then asked what he missed most about his sister. He revealed, “I’ll be honest with you, almost everything. We had an amazing relationship. We were, again, we were best friends. And just her silliness, because she’s funny as fuck. She really is. And not trying to be funny. She’s just, her normal things of every day.”
He also shared, “When we first met, it was easy, simple.”
Teresa Giudice Previously Opened up About Their Reconciliation
GettyThe news broke in November 2025 that Giudice had patched things up. Notably, this happened the weekend of BravoCon, where all involved parties were in attendance. Giudice took to social media on November 15 to share photos of them all together.
She said in the caption, “LOVE LOVE LOVE ❤️❤️❤️” The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star used Sister Sledge’s “We Are Family” in the post.
Giudice discussed what led to her reconciliation with the Gorgas in an “Undressed with Pol’ and Patrik” interview. She said, “We reunited way before BravoCon. I think it’s been, like, over a month or something. I can give you the exact date if I look at my phone, but it’s been a minute.
Some people were saying, ‘Oh, it shouldn’t be done for the press.’ It wasn’t done for the press. It was done for us. And anyone that knows me knows the truth. I wouldn’t be doing it for press or TV.”
Giudice then discussed how the reunion impacted her family. According to her, “Gia, she’s so happy. My brother’s her godfather, and they were really close, and she even said, ‘I got my best friend back.’ She adored my brother.”
The Families Spent Christmas Eve Together
Following the reunion between the Gorgas and Giudices, the two families spent Christmas Eve together. Antonia Gorga took to TikTok to share footage from the celebration, which featured them all standing in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. She captioned the video, “The gangs all here. #RHONJ.”
In another clip, Giudice can be seen trying Gorga’s cookies, Let’s Sprinkle by MG, for the first time. She can be heard saying to the group, “It’s time for dessert.” After trying the cookies, Giudice stated, “They’re great.” Her husband, Louie Ruelas, called them “heaven on earth.”
