Kandi Burruss Says It’s ‘Awkward’ With Todd Tucker

In an Amazon Live she broadcast on January 3, Kandi opened up about where things stand with her ex, Todd Tucker. The pair got married in 2014, and Kandi filed for divorce in November 2025.

During the chat, she talked about what it was like spending New Year’s Eve with Todd when she returned home for a break from her Broadway run. “Todd wanted to take the kids to Great Wolf Lodge. We’re in this awkward space. It was like, ‘Ok, so I guess we’re both taking the kids to Great Wolf Lodge. We’re both going. Great!'” she laughed.

She went on, “So we did. The kids had a good time, and that’s all that matters, right? Mission was accomplished. We participated. Everything was good. The kids was happy, so it went well. That’s all I can ask for at this point.”

Along with New Year’s Eve, the exes recently celebrated the 10th birthday of their son, Ace. They also share a 6-year-old daughter, Blaze, and each have an adult daughter from previous relationships.
