Martha Stewart is making an unexpected move into reality TV—sort of.
The lifestyle mogul has quietly filmed a cameo for the rebooted “The Real Housewives of New York City,” giving fans a glimpse of her world alongside one of the show’s newest faces, according to TMZ.
While Stewart won’t be holding an apple anytime soon, her appearance is already generating buzz ahead of season 16.
What We Know About Her Cameo
According to the outlet, Stewart filmed the cameo within the past few weeks, and the scene is already completed.
She appears alongside her longtime makeup artist, Daisy Toye, whose full name is Nicole Daisy Toye and who recently joined the reboot’s cast.
Toye’s connection to Stewart makes the crossover feel organic.
The makeup artist has worked with Stewart for well over a decade, with the businesswoman previously referring to her as her “longtime makeup artist” as far back as 2017.
Their relationship goes beyond work, too—Toye has spent holidays and personal time with Stewart, a dynamic that could translate well on screen.
All About the New Cast
The new season of RHONY continues to expand its cast with a mix of returning stars and fresh faces.
Familiar names like Erin Lichy, Sai De Silva and Jessel Taank are set to return, while newcomers including Erika Hammond and Toye are joining the lineup.
Former cast member Carole Radziwill is also expected to appear.
Another notable addition is Hailey Glassman, known to some as the ex of reality star Jon Gosselin, further adding to the eclectic mix of personalities in the reboot era.
Toye previously shared with Page Six how her professional relationship with Stewart began.
She recalled being called in for a last-minute opportunity when Stewart’s usual makeup artist was unavailable.
“One day [Stewart’s editor-in-chief] called me and was like, ‘Daisy, Martha’s makeup artist is not available, can you come and do this photo shoot?’” she said, adding that she quickly prepared by buying all new brushes and makeup.
Since then, the two have built a close working relationship, with Toye reportedly working with Stewart multiple days a week.
She’s also praised Stewart’s openness to trying new beauty approaches, noting that while many women stick to the same routines, Stewart is “very open.”
Despite the cameo, don’t expect Stewart to officially join the cast.
Representatives have previously shut down rumors of her becoming a full-time Housewife, with Stewart herself insisting she is “not a ‘Housewife.’”
