Stacey Rusch has been relatively quiet since the reunion for season 9 of “Real Housewives of Potomac” aired in the spring of 2025, and now we know why. There have been some significant, yet familiar, changes in her love life. The reality star now confirms that she has reconciled with her ex-husband, Thiemo Rusch.
“As crazy as it sounds, I am back with my husband,” Stacey revealed during the RHOP season 10 premiere. “Do you see this glow? I’m really happy.”
Stacey and Her Ex Reunited During a Family Vacation

It began as a Christmas trip to Mexico for the sake of their 9-year-old daughter, Arabella, and turned into a romantic reunion. They were already in the process of divorcing after a 16-year marriage, and received news while on the trip.
“We were notified that we were, in fact, officially divorced while we were on vacation. We just looked at each other. I think we both knew it wasn’t the end of us. We had to give each other another try,” explained Stacey during a confessional. “Now that the divorce is final and we have found our way back to each other, we’re going with the flow right now. And the flow feels good. We have just fallen right back into the step of things.”
Stacey Says That Her Priorities Have Shifted

The reality star explained that her perspective has shifted and that the couple is now approaching their relationship differently. One-on-one time now is just as important as spending time with their daughter.
“We’ve just always prioritized Bella,” Stacey says. “And I think saying that we didn’t necessarily need a date night, we would rather have a family night, and not making sure that we had our own personal time, no wonder our relationship deteriorated.”
Thiemo sends Stacey e-invites for date night now, because he thinks calling feels “kind of strange.” He agrees that they now need time together alone, without distractions.
During their on-camera date, the couple discussed how they believe that people will react to the news of their reconciliation. Stacey thinks everyone will say that they are “crazy” for reuniting, and Thiemo is ready to face any criticism that may come. “I also know that my real friends will always support whatever decision I’m making,” he concluded.
While the duo may have reunited, they aren’t sharing the news with their daughter just yet. Both Stacey and Thiemo agree that they don’t want to confuse her any more than they already have. Bella believes that they are divorced, and they’re making sure that their relationship really sticks this time before sharing the news.
