Teresa Giudice has shown it all during her 14 seasons on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” but a few special moments stand out.
Speaking with People magazine ahead of the “Real Housewives of Orange County” franchise’s 20th anniversary in March, Giudice, 53, noted that she had “many” big moments on the Jersey-based edition of the Bravo reality show.
“I had my daughter on season 2,” Giudice said of the birth of her youngest child, Audriana, in 2009. “I love that I can look back and see videos of my parents. They’re no longer here with me, so I love that I can see that. There are so many milestones. Gia graduating eighth grade, they showed that, graduating high school, going to college. There are so many milestones that there are too many to name.”
“It’s been a long time,” the RHONJ OG added. “I got married [to second husband Luis Ruelas] there. That was like the most recent huge milestone. I’ve done a lot. Had a baby, graduation, my parents, got married. There are so many things.”
Teresa Giudice Said She Wishes Fans Could See Her ‘Lighter’ Side on RHONJ
Giudice has been a cast member on RHONJ since 2009 and is the only original star to appear in all of the first 14 seasons. Her status for Season 15 is still in limbo as Bravo plans a possible revamp of the cast.
At BravoCon 2023, Giudice said fans don’t see her full personality on the show.
“Luis always says to he’s me, ‘I wish they would see who you really, really are,’” she shared. “I’m really funny. I’m, like, so easygoing. I’m always in a good mood. Like, I just go with the flow. I don’t like drama. I really don’t. …I mean, the only time, like, you know, there’s drama is if someone comes at me, which I think that is, that goes for everyone. Like if someone’s attacking you, then of course you’re going to attack back.”
“And so, I mean, I guess I wish they would just show like my happy self, like who I really am, like, you know, every day, when the show is not filming,” she added.
Teresa Giudice’s Table Flip Is Known as One of the Greatest ‘Housewives’ Moments of All Time
While she didn’t mention it as one of her favorite moments, Giudice’s Season 1 table flip during an argument with Danielle Staub goes down as one of her most memorable “Real Housewives” moments ever.
During a dinner with Staub, Giudice flipped a restaurant table while calling her co-star a “prostitution wh—.” The violent move came after Staub made a comment about Giudice’s then-husband, Joe Giudice.
Giudice has since admitted she learned to embrace the scene after initially being shocked by her reaction. “Let me tell you the truth: after I did it, I was like, ‘Oh my God, what did I just do? Like, I wasn’t proud of it. I really wasn’t,” she recalled at BravoCon 2023, per People. “That was the first time I ever did that. I got that mad. Afterwards, everyone loved it. So then I embraced it.”
During an “Agree or Disagree” segment on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live,” Bravo superfan Jerry O’Connell said the table flip moment was the greatest in Housewives history. “Oh yeah, come on,” the actor said. “It was the one that put us all on the map!”
