‘My Agreement With My Husband’: RHOSLC’s Whitney Rose Talks Marriage With Justin

Whitney Rose from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has pulled back the curtain on her marriage to Justin Rose in a way that shocked fans.

In a recent Season 6 episode, Whitney opened up to cast-mate Bronwyn Newport about the “agreement” she and Justin have in their marriage. During the November 11 episode, she told Bronwyn, “My agreement with my husband is: I’m not gonna do anything stupid, I’m always going to get home safe, and I’ll always communicate with him.” She later reiterated her point, saying, “Agreements need to be had.”

Whitney Rose Showed Empathy for Bronwyn Newport

Drama unfolded after the group’s crossover Below Deck Down Under trip, where tensions spiked. The reason? Bronwyn learned that Lisa Barlow had allegedly told Angie Katsanevas a shocking rumor: that Bronwyn’s husband, Todd Bradley, had been unfaithful.

Once the women returned from the yacht, Whitney seized the moment over lunch to ask Bronwyn, “So, what’s the agreement?” Bronwyn didn’t hold back, replying with an irritated tone that they don’t have one, and that’s what frustrates her. She added, “If Lisa wants to say, ‘I heard Todd was kissing someone,’ I’d rather respond with, ‘Probably! I picked her out for him. What’s next?’”

Whitney Rose has publicly shared her own marital challenges, expressing empathy toward Bronwyn. But, she drew a clear line when it came to her own marriage, saying, “We’re definitely not in an open relationship.”

Whitney Rose’s Marriage Under a Microscope

Whitney Rose and Justin Rose will celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary in November 2025. Whitney has been totally honest about their relationship, telling the Daily Dish in 2024, “marriage is up and down.”

Their love story is not straightforward and has come with plenty of drama in the past. According to People, Whitney and Justin Rose first met when she worked for his medical-spa business, but they were both married to other people. They eventually ended their marriages and got married in 2009. They had critics right from the start, having to leave behind the Mormon community once their affair became public.

They share two children: a daughter named Bobbie, who was born in 2010, and a son named Brooks, who was born in 2013. Justin has three sons from his previous marriage to Stasie Koford.

Their relationship has seen its fair share of tests, including Justin’s job loss after Whitney’s reality-TV status became a problem for his employer, LifeVantage Corporation.

Divorce Rumors Have Circulated Frequently

In 2023, according to Reality Tea,  Whitney Rose revealed a rough patch between her and Justin to Angie Katsanevas, claiming that on their anniversary, she asked him, “Do you still want this?” And, his reply, according to her, was, “Do you?” This was the start of what Whitney called a “reset” in their marriage, where they focused more on communication, balancing kids, business, etc.

But divorce rumors have plagued the couple for years, and Whitney has repeatedly denied them. According to The Daily Dish, in January 2025, on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she slammed the speculation, claiming, “Yeah, those rumors have been circulating for five years now.”

Justin was even physically present during the episode taping, and Whitney asserted, “Justin, obviously, is not going anywhere.”
