‘Days of Our Lives’ Cast Shake-Up Happening This Spring: Here’s Who’s Coming & Who’s Going

Days of Our Lives” has become known for cast shake-ups, and another one is happening this spring. Major casting changes are coming to the hit Peacock soap all within a couple of months.

Say Goodbye to These ‘Days of Our Lives’ Stars

Alice Halsey aired her last episode as Rachel Black on March 5. The young actress took over the role from Finley Rose Slater in April 2025, and Rachel will be recast once again after Halsey’s exit.

Six months after debuting on the hit Peacock soap, Michael Roark will exit the role of Jeremy Horton on Wednesday, April 29. Jeremy leaves Salem for storyline-dedicated reasons following his and Stephanie’s (Abigail Klein) kidnapping by Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey).

Al Calderon will air his final episode as Javi in May. The exit was announced months ago, when Calderon was cast on “Brilliant Minds,” but due to “Days of Our Lives” advanced filming schedule, he’s still on screen. Although Javi is off-screen for a while, Calderon will have more appearances until his run ends.

Less than a year after debuting, Marissa Reyes is exiting the role of Arianna Horton this month. The daughter of Will (Chandler Massey) and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) has been recast and will debut in a few weeks.

These exits follow Billy Flynn, who left the role of Chad DiMera after a decade. Flynn aired his final episode as Chad in February, while he’s been appearing as Cane on “The Young and the Restless.”

These Stars Are Coming to ‘Days of Our Lives’ This Spring?

Nikki Crawford has taken over the legacy role of Lexie Carver, previously played by Renee Jones. Thanks to EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) and Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton), Lexie is coming back from the dead. Crawford made her first appearance on Friday, March 6, when fans learned she was the woman in the cryochamber.

The wait for a new Rachel will be over on Tuesday, March 17, when Lorelei Olivia Mote debuts in the role of Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) troublemaker daughter. Mote is best known for her roles in “American Horror Stories,” “Daisy Jones & the Six,” “Riddle of Fire,” and “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”.

Colton Little reprises the role of Andrew Donovan after a few months’ hiatus. The ISA agent is back in the mix to deal with the latest trouble that Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Dimitri (Peter Porte) land in.

AlexAnn Hopkins returns as Joy Wesley on Friday, April 24. The last time “Days of Our Lives” fans saw Joy in 2024, she left town after learning she was pregnant with Alex’s (Robert Scott Wilson) baby. The actress promised fans that Joy brings trouble to Salem, which shouldn’t surprise anyone.

“The Young and the Restless” fan favorite Conner Floyd makes his debut as the new Chad on Tuesday, April 21, when Chad returns to Salem with his kids. After 10 months of filming, Floyd’s ready for fans to see his take on the beloved role, previously played by Flynn.

Chad’s son Thomas will also have a new face when the family returns. Henry Witcher has taken over the role of Thomas following Cary Christopher’s departure, which came after other opportunities arose.

Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) are making their Salem return this spring. Eli informed Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) in February that the couple was moving back to Salem to be closer to family.

The recast roles of Javi and Arianna have not yet been confirmed. However, there is speculation that Sydney Malakeh will play Arianna and that Jacob Martinez is the new Javi. They were spotted in photos at a cast holiday party last December, fueling speculation, but the show has not yet revealed any details on either recast.
