Following the tragic death of “Days of Our Lives” actor Patrick Muldoon at the age of 57, tributes have poured in for the beloved star.
Actor, producer, and musician Muldoon, who was also known for appearances on television shows like “Saved by the Bell” and “Melrose Place,” as well as movies like 1997’s “Starship Troopers” and 1999’s “Stigmata,” died from a heart attack on Sunday, April 19.
The latest star to pay tribute to Muldoon is Jake Getman, a young actor who starred alongside him as a child in a little-known 2016 horror movie.

Muldoon played Deputy Henry in the film, while Getman played Dustin, aka Dusty.
The young actor took to his Instagram account to share his tribute to his former co-star with his 18,800 followers.
Getman’s tribute included a picture of himself standing with a crouching Muldoon.
The caption on the post began, “RIP Patrick Muldoon. 🕊️”
It continued, “Worked with him when I was 8 on Little Dead Rotting Hood — a great guy and always kept the energy light.”
Getman’s followers flocked to the comments section to pay their own respects, with one writing, “I am so sorry about this. I was a big fan of his especially on Days of Our Lives and Saved by the bell.”
Another follower wrote, “Definitely one of the good ones and a personal teen crush ❤️🩹.”
Someone else said, “I’m a soap fan. This one hits hard. 😢”
Finally, another user simply commented, “Sad news, gone way too soon!”
Getman Continues to Act Steadily

His subsequent movie credits include the 2018 drama “Karma Dog,” the 2019 thriller “Celebrity Crush,” the 2022 family comedy “Cheaper by the Dozen,” and the 2025 animated adventure “Elio.”
On television, his credits include the psychological dark comedy-drama “Barry,” sitcom “Just Roll With It,” animated sitcom “American Dad,” and the “Verizon: Halftime” short, which played midway through Super Bowl LX in February 2026.
