Two years after ending his 22-year marriage to Vanessa Arevalo, the “General Hospital” star has gone public with his new romance with former beauty queen Taelyr Robinson. Here’s everything to know about her.
Who Is Cameron Mathison’s New Girlfriend Taelyr Robinson?
Taelyr Robinson, Mathison’s new girlfriend, was born and raised in Riverside, California, just outside Los Angeles. She grew up in a two-parent household with her two younger sisters.
In 2020, Robinson opened up about her childhood and the impact of losing her father at just 11 years old.
“I was a child still, but I was the one who made sure that my younger sisters ate dinner and that their homework was completed before they went to bed,” Robinson told The Baltimore Sun at the time.
When she was crowned Miss Maryland USA in 2020, Robinson wanted to set an example for children struggling with homelessness and poverty. “I didn’t grow up in a household where I had anyone to look up to,” Robinson said. “You don’t have to be defined by your struggles. I want to show kids that they can achieve their goals no matter where they come from.”

Prior to being crowned Miss Maryland USA in 2020, Robinson participated in six national pageants, including Miss New York in 2019 and Miss New Hampshire in 2018.
“I love the idea of pageants because it gives women a platform to tell their story,” Robinson told the outlet at the time.
Aside from pageants, Robinson also made a name for herself in modeling. She appeared in campaigns for Target, CoverGirl, Bobbi Brown, Tarte Cosmetics, Lilly Pulitzer, and other major brands.
She Appeared in a Reality Show
The former Hallmark star’s girlfriend is also no stranger to television. In 2013, Robinson appeared on the ABC reality show “The Vineyard.”
According to the show’s logline, “The Vineyard follows a handful of 20-somethings on Martha’s Vineyard for the summer. Tight quarters, new friends and new rivals, all living, working and playing together, make this picturesque playground ripe for mischief and romance.”
In April 2018, Robinson flew to Thailand and became a yoga instructor. Later, she helped create a pop-up modern art museum called Colorama in Barcelona. Robinson also co-hosts “The Becoming Club” podcast, which focuses on personal growth and transformation.
Mathison first shared photos of Robinson on his Instagram account last month. The soap star posted photos of his family outing, including his two children and Robinson. “Making memories,” he captioned the post.
Meanwhile, Robinson celebrated Mathison’s 57th birthday with a sweet post, calling him “my love.”
In May, Mathison opened up about returning to the dating scene after his divorce, per Soap Opera Digest. “It was a bit much for me,” the actor admitted, adding that he realized he was not yet ready for a long-term relationship. “I need time to heal and do my thing.”
