“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, October 9, reveal that Jill Abbott and Lily Winters confront Cane Ashby about his past. Later, a heartbroken Cane gives up on Lily and turns to Phyllis Summers.
Speaking of Phyllis, she gives unsolicited advice to Daniel Romalotti about Tessa Porter.
Jack Abbott protects his family’s interests. After teaming up with Victor Newman, he comes up with a plan to ultimately take him down.
Jack hopes Cane will give the AI software to Jill. He’s confident that, in turn, Jill will hand it over to him to destroy.
But before he does that, Jack wants to use it against Victor. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say he tells Diane Jenkins about his plans, and his wife is definitely all in.
‘The Young & the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor’s Hit Piece On Cane
CBSOn Thursday, Adam, Nick, and Chelsea discuss the exposé on Cane that they’re about to release. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Chelsea worries that they’re going at him too hard.
“His kids are going to see this, Lily and if he loses them, he’s got nothing left to lose,” Chelsea points out.
Adam and Nick remind her they need to be all in for this to work in their favor. Then, Adam receives a go signal from Victor to publish the piece.
Nick thinks everything seems under control, so he’s taking his leave to meet with Sharon Newman in L.A.
Jill Quizzes Cane
CBSOn the train, Jill tells Cane that Victor told her some disturbing things. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say she asks about Colin Atkinson and his supposed scam to get a woman’s fortune.
Cane insists he had nothing to do with Colin supposedly targeting a rich woman to get the money for Arabesque. Jill asks if he knew the money Colin gave him was dirty.
“Absolutely not, I swear on the souls of my children,” Cane replies. Just then, Lily walks in and hears him.
“Don’t you dare swear on the souls of our children to cover your deceit,” Lily confronts Cane.
She goes on to accuse him of lying again, adding that he made her think Colin was a changed man. Lily tells Cane their kids will read the story, and they’ll see that he is his father’s son.
After Lily storms off, a teary-eyed Cane tells Jill he can’t fix this, adding that it’s over.
‘The Young & the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis’ Advice for Daniel
CBSMeanwhile, Daniel gets defensive when Phyllis asks if he has feelings for Tessa. He denies it, but she claims that Danny Romalotti confirmed it to her.
“The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Daniel tells Phyllis he doesn’t need her advice or worry. But the redhead reminds him that there’ll be a lot of pain ahead if he goes down that road.
“Unrequited love is a very special kind of hell,” Phyllis tells Daniel. “Let her lean on someone else, she doesn’t need you.”
Then, Lily shows up and rants about Newman’s piece on Cane. Phyllis looks at the article and tells Lily it’ll blow over.
Finally, Phyllis gets a call from Cane. “I need to see you now,” he tells her. “It’s urgent.”
