When Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce get married later this year, there’s a chance that their wedding will take place at Ocean House, a five-star luxury resort in Rhode Island, according to sources who talked to Page Six. A fantasy wedding-worthy venue, it’s also a place that some residents call home.
Now, another lucky buyer will be able to live in the stunning seaside residence thanks to the fact that a penthouse in the resort is selling for $20 million.
The Size of the Penthouse Is ‘Extraordinary’
Bill Hecker of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties, who holds the listing, noted that the abode is the only penthouse as well as the largest residence within Ocean House, according to Mansion Global. In fact, it’s almost 4,700 square feet, which Hecker said is “extraordinary” for a home in a hotel.
Along with three en-suite bedrooms, two living rooms and a den, the residence also features a dining room that boasts ocean views and a kitchen with a pantry. Mansion Global also notes that the home is “[f]illed with light from many windows and skylights.”
That’s not to mention the private terrace, which offers almost 2,200 square feet of outdoor space. Hecker pointed out, “When you walk out to the deck, you’re looking out over the Atlantic Ocean. The sun rises in the morning over the Atlantic and sets behind you over Fishers Island.”
As if that wasn’t enough to entice potential buyers, Mansion Global adds that “[t]he penthouse also comes with full membership to the Ocean House Club, which means access to the Ocean Beach, a members-only club room, a lap pool, a fitness center, a spa, a wine cellar and a tasting room.”
‘Ocean House is the Perfect Luxury Wedding Destination’
Found in the Watch Hill neighborhood, Ocean House is near Swift’s own Rhode Island home, which she bought for $17.75 million in 2013, according to Realtor.com.
