Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s love story took a big step this summer as the two were married in a star-studded private ceremony at Madison Square Garden on July 3. And the two have remained quiet on the event, with not many details being leaked.
But, for the first time since he said “I do,” Kelce spoke about it, speaking after Chiefs training camp on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
“It was a fun offseason, man, wedding was the best night of my life and I appreciate everyone who came out and celebrated and had fun with us,” he said. “That’s about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration. But it’s football, baby.”

Kelce was also asked why the couple picked Madison Square Garden for their nuptials rather than a more traditional wedding venue.
“MSG, man. You know, I always told myself I’d go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking. Then my wife went when I was stuck in minicamp, so I didn’t get my opportunity to go then,” he explained. “So it’s kind of cool to be able to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the Mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there.”
“I can’t thank the owners of MSG for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing we wanted a private event and everything, so it was perfect. And the AC was perfect, man, that’s the best part,” he added.

Kaia Gerber said that the romance between the two is “genuinely a love story,” having gone to the wedding with her mother Cindy Crawford and father Rande Gerber.
Rob Gronkowski revealed that there were raffles at the wedding, adding that he did participate in an effort to “win something for my girl, Camille.” He added that what was “really cool was that you had to play the games in order to get the raffle tickets, so that was really, really cool.”
Simone Biles called the ceremony the “perfect love story, followed by the perfect night.”
Karli Kloss said she wanted to “protect the privacy of my friends’ personal lives,” during an appearance on “TODAY” on Tuesday, July 28, but said that they are “an amazing couple and I’m so happy for them.”
Marcello Hernández joked that the “most surprising thing I saw at the wedding was Tom Cruise.”
