Michael Bublé & Niall Horan Hilariously Sneak Into TV Star’s Selfie Videos

Michael Bublé is getting on Eric Stonestreet’s last nerve. “The Voice” coach popped up out of nowhere in two of the actor’s hilarious selfie videos in recent days.

In two separate Instagram videos posted in August 2025, Stonestreet — best known for starring as Cam on “Modern Family” from 2009 to 2020 — sarcastically opened up about his dream of becoming a music star. In the first video on August 8, Bublé popped up hoping to sing along with Stonestreet, only for the actor to hilariously shoo him away and call him a “pitchy crasher.”

In a follow-up video posted on August 29, Bublé popped up again, but was rebuffed by Stonestreet for a second time. Yet when Bublé’s fellow “The Voice” season 28 coach Niall Horan appeared, he adorably could do no wrong.

Eric Stonestreet Does Not Want Michael Bublé in His Barber Shop Quartet!

In Stonestreet’s first video, he is seen sitting in a home as he informed his 2.6 million Instagram followers, “You know what? I love music so much, I’m gonna be the lead singer of my very own barber shop quartet.”

As he begins to sing the instrumental part of “Mr. Sandman,” Bublé suddenly appears behind him, singing the lyrics. Trying to remove the world-renowned crooner from the video shot, Stonestreet quips, “Michael, no, I’m the lead singer of my barber shop quartet.”

When he tries again to sing the song, Bublé hilariously butts in, singing loudly again, and Stonestreet cuts off the video. Fans amusingly played along in the comments, including one who wrote, “Hang in Michael you may get to sing later and be a star”

Michael Bublé Gets Kicked Out Again When Niall Horan Shows Up

An equally funny sequel video appeared in Stonestreet’s feed on August 29, which he captioned, “Breaking: I have more news.”

Filming himself again, he says, “You know what? I just love music so much, I want to become a giant, huge singer-songwriter.” Belting out the first three words of Horan’s hit song “Heaven,” Stonestreet is suddenly joined by Bublé, singing behind him again.

Looking irritated, Stonestreet hilariously snaps, “Michael! We already talked about it. No. I’m the lead singer of my own band. Thank you!”

Stonestreet starts over, and this time, Horan is the one who pops up, singing the lyrics to his own song. Stonestreet looks pleasantly surprised and says, “This could work!” But when Bublé jumps in trying to join, the actor amusingly gets irritated with hima again, and even Horan says, “Michael, stop!”

After Stonestreet sings a line in unison with Horan, he beams, “You’re really good!” Horan adorably replies, “You, too!”

Eric Stonestreet & Michael Bublé First Met During a Prank on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’

There’s no explanation with either video about why Stonestreet is with Bublé and Horan, making the schtick all the more amusing. Horan left three laughing-with-tears emoji in the comment section and Bublé  quipped, “Three’s Company” reboot????”

Bublé and Stonestreet first connected during a prank-gone-wrong on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in 2019. Bublé was supposed to be working in disguise as a grocery store cashier while DeGeneres told him, through a device in his ear, what to say and do to customers.

But to his and DeGeneres’ surprise, the first customer happened to be Stonestreet, who eventually recognized Bublé and said he could tell something fishy was going on. The two then both went to visit with DeGeneres in her studio and gushed over one anothers’ work.

Bublé and Horan, meanwhile, have been spending quite a bit of time together while filming the early rounds of “The Voice” season 28, which premieres on September 22. Here’s hoping the Stonestreet’s fledgling barbershop quartet makes an appearance!
