Cori, 26, shared the devastating announcement on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, revealing that she had lost her daughter, Codi Dreaux, whom she described as “the love of my life.”

Codi had been born prematurely at just 25 weeks in February 2025 and spent 10 months in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) before finally coming home early in January 2026.

Tragically, just 20 days after Codi’s return home, Cori shared the news of her passing.

Cori’s fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also paid tribute to Codi, writing on his own Instagram Stories: “I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you.”

Cori previously spoke with Us Weekly in September 2025 and bravely opened up about how difficult it was to have her daughter in the NICU for an extended period of time.
“The NICU is a different type of experience, just like you gotta know to know, and it’s not an easy place to be but the support is amazing,” she said.
While she thanked the nurse and doctors, she added, “Sometimes I go in [the NICU] and I can’t stop crying, and I apologize. They’re like, ‘What are you [apologizing] for? This is normal. If you wasn’t crying, we would be worried. We’d be concerned, so just try to just stay close and just keep hope alive.’”
