Beloved actor Richard Gere is celebrating another trip around the sun. He turned 77 on August, 31, 2026. Naturally, he couldn’t think of a better way to spend his birthday than with his wife and children. And it seems the feeling is mutual.
“No one I rather spend my life with, happy birthday, I love you, we love you 🥰” Alejandra Silva Gere posted a sweet Instagram tribute to her husband.
In the first photo, Alejandra wraps her husband in a huge hug as their son runs toward them. In the second photo, Gere beams at the camera as Alejandra continues hugging him, with their son wrapping his arms around both of them. Everyone proudly wears birthday party hats.

As Richard Gere ages, he’s prioritized spending time with family. During the World Cup, he and Alejandra excitedly supported Spain, her native country. The couple built a lovely life together there.

Their 13-year-old son, Albert, joined them.
