In September 2025, it was announced that Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman were splitting up after 19 years of marriage. Now, the Daily Mail has reported on Saturday, January 17, that Urban is getting serious with a new love interest, and an insider says they’ve already moved in together.
However, the day after the Mail published the report, the woman the report claimed Urban is living with spoke out to call the story “absolutely ridiculous and untrue.”
This former American Idol judge finalized his divorce with Kidman on January 6, 2026.
The report says local sources have revealed a lot about what is currently going on in Urban’s life, and that “everyone is adamant that there is a new woman in his life and that the relationship is serious.”
The report goes on to say there is chatter that Keith’s new romance interest is 25-year-old rising country musician Karley Scott Collins, but reps for Urban and Collins had not responded to the outlet’s requests for comment at the time of publishing.
Collins currently has a debut album called “Flight Risk” out now, and an Instagram following of over 62k fans. Her accomplishments so far include having toured with country legend Willie Nelson.

The musicians both performed on the C2C Music Tour of the UK and Europe last spring, before Scott Collins was then invited to join Urban’s U.S. “High and Alive” tour as a supporting act. The report points out that despite the timeline, there are no rumors of an affair.
Scott Collins and Urban are both set to perform this summer at the Lakefront Music Fest in Prior Lake, Minnesota where Urban and Billy Idol are the headliners. Other artist in the lineup include Jefferson Starship, Jackson Dean, and George Thorogood & The Destroyers.
Report Says Keith Urban Is Working on ‘Heartbreak Album’
The Daily Mail report suggests Urban and Kidman could still be seeing each other around Nashville, as they still share a hairdresser and shop in the same Whole Foods location, per the story. Additionally, they both have upcoming major commitments in Music City.
Urban plans to continue recording in the Music Row studio he has purchased and renovated which was once used by Elvis to record 240 songs including “Heartbreak Hotel,” the story says sources have revealed.
And the report adds that sources have told the mail that “Urban is working on a heartbreak album of his own at that studio.”
In his first interview since his divorce, Urban said he wants to focus on a simpler life as 2026 begins. “Simplifying is my journey this year,” he told Dann Huff. The star also shared a piece of advice from a friend he plans to implement. He explained his friend told him, “Just work on how you introduce yourself to the day,” saying he found it to be “an absolutely beautiful phrase.”
