At 50, Ryan Seacrest is doing whatever he can to remain youthful, from working out religiously to a nightly regimen to keep his skin looking good. But the longtime “American Idol” host threw his radio show co-hosts for a loop when he described his routine on December 15, 2025.
During his nationally syndicated radio show, “On Air With Ryan Seacrest,” Seacrest told Sisanie Villaclara and Tanya Rad his before-bed steps, from brushing his teeth to washing his face, which Villaclara called his “beauty routine.” But when he threw in the step “moisture it up on the knees,” both co-stars looked confused — and they had to know more!
Ryan Seacrest Thinks Dry Knees Are a Turnoff For Women
As Seacrest told his co-hosts that he does his whole regimen before sitting down to watch TV at night, Villaclara interuppted, “God forbid you don’t lotion your knees before you go to bed!”
“Yeah that one got me, too,” Rad agreed, and then laughed as Seacrest responded, “Oh, you don’t think it’d be a turnoff if a guy had dry knees?”
As the whole crew laughed in the background, she inquired, “Every day you lotion your knees!?”
Giggling, Villaclara said, “The image of you lotioning your knees!” and Seacrest made a circular motion with his hand, noting, “I’ll do it now! It’s like that, on my kneecap.”
When Rad asked if he also moisturizes his elbows, Seacrest showed the camera his arm and said, “Yeah, I think dry knees and elbows is a turnoff!”
Villaclara marveled, “Look at your elbows, they’re so smooth!” and Rad quipped, “So supple!”
Beaming, Seacrest said, “Thanks! That’s the nicest thing you’ve ever said, Sisanie!”

In recent months, Seacrest has been open on his radio show about the fact he’s still looking for the perfect partner. He weighed in on December 2 during a segment about “quiet dating” in which two people don’t talk with others or those they’re casually dating about the status of their relationship, in an effort to take the pressure off.
Noting that he’s been known to do that, Seacrest said, “I have in the past, probably for too long. That is the thing. Because it’s liberating in a way to say, ‘You know what? I’m not getting up every day thinking, ‘The number one thing in my life is to have to find somebody. I’m good, I don’t need somebody to do what I wanna do to be me. I don’t need it.”
Ryan is so wise. Taking care of his body is his business, and I think it’s admirable he keeps his skin moisturized. I hope he finds a beautiful woman who can love him fiercely!
