On Tuesday, October 7, Seacrest interviewed Swift on his “On Air” podcast. A snippet of it was shared on Instagram. Seacrest informed Swift that he was ordained and officiated at his co-host Tanya Reid’s wedding. Reid showed her support for Seacrest, rating him a “20 stars out of 10” for how he handled her ceremony.
“I took an online course, and I’m allowed to do other weddings. So, I’m just throwing my name out there as officiant,” Seacrest said. Swift did not take him up on his offer, at least not immediately. However, she did say she was “honored” by it. “That is fantastic, you guys are amazing,” she added.
Swift and Kelce’s upcoming wedding is going to be one of the most newsworthy celebrations in the last decade, and fans are really invested in the couple’s relationship. The pair got engaged in August and shared photos from the beautiful moment on Instagram on August 26. However, in her interview, Swift was reluctant to share more details about her wedding, including the wedding date.
“I definitely feel like when I talk about the wedding I get so excited that it makes me just want to like talk about it for like an hour,” she said. “But it’s just sort of like I won’t stop talking if I start, you know what I mean?” She was incredibly polite about it, though, and thanked Seacrest. “But I’m so happy that you’re… thank you for being excited for us, because I’m excited for us too,” she said.

“I mean, the thing is, like I share so much of our relationship with the world, that like the moment that that happened, it’s like I’ll have it forever. And that will always be mine,” she said. “There’s so much that is shared with the world, when it comes to the fact that we’re both very public facing people, and both of our career paths involve entertaining people. So we’re very kind of relaxed about things in a way. ‘But we also have… I got to figure out like ways to make sure that I do have things that are just between us.”
