Rick Devens is not giving up without a fight on “Big Brother 28.”
Barrett remains Head of Household with Angela Murray, Dee Valladares and Devens on the block, and his primary target has not changed. According to RHAP’s Sept. 7 live feed update, Barrett still wants Devens evicted as the house prepares for its next Blockbuster competition.
Taran Armstrong and Chappell broke down Day 62, which featured Devens campaigning for his safety, Angela pitching a new alliance and several of the newer players questioning their long-term relationships.
Yash holds the Power of Veto but does not plan to use it, leaving Barrett’s three original nominees facing the next stage of the week.
Rick Devens Campaigns to Stay on ‘Big Brother 28’
With his game in danger, Devens has started making his case to the other houseguests.
According to Armstrong and Chappell, Devens approached Yash and warned him about the threat posed by Barrett and Drew. His pitch comes as Yash’s competition record increasingly attracts attention throughout the house.
Barrett has acknowledged Yash as a major competition threat who will eventually need to go, despite keeping his immediate focus on Devens.
Armstrong questioned whether waiting is Barrett’s best option and suggested that targeting Yash earlier could potentially improve his path toward the endgame.
For now, however, Devens remains the player Barrett wants out.
Angela Murray Pitches a New Women’s Alliance
Devens is not the only Icon searching for a path forward.
Angela and Dee have explored a potential women’s alliance with Taylor and Melody as they attempt to navigate Barrett’s HOH.
The pitch gives Taylor and Melody another option as the house becomes increasingly fluid. Taylor is already considering her endgame possibilities, while Melody continues maintaining relationships across several groups.
According to the recap, Melody has worked to strengthen her connections with Taylor and Yash while also navigating the increasingly complicated dynamic between Barrett and Drew.
Whether the proposed women’s group develops into a lasting alliance remains uncertain, but the conversations show how quickly players are reconsidering their options.

Barrett’s HOH has also exposed growing tension between him and Drew.
Drew remains loyal but has become frustrated with Barrett’s decisions. Chappell joked about Drew’s continued willingness to stick beside Barrett even as their relationship becomes increasingly strained.
The situation could become important for Barrett after his HOH ends. Losing Drew’s trust would potentially cost him an important number just as the game becomes more individual.
Melody has added another layer to their dynamic. Her relationships with both men led to an awkward and playful night of cuddling, jealousy and tension, while their strategic relationships remained equally complicated.
Despite the shifting alliances, Barrett currently appears committed to finishing the week with an Icon leaving the house.
