“Big Brother” alums Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo are officially expanding their family.
The reality TV couple, who share 4-year-old son Arrow, announced on Instagram on Aug. 24 that they are expecting their second child.

“We are PREGNANT!! Praise Jesus!!” Franzel wrote in her caption. “A HUGE thank you to those who have been praying along side us for this miracle. 3 years in waiting and God said it’s time. Our little family is growing!!”
Franzel, 33, shared several photos from a family shoot in Michigan alongside Arroyo and their son. She wore a button-front floral dress while sitting on a white picnic blanket, cradling her baby bump. In one photo, a shirt hung on a clothesline behind them with the word “BROTHER,” hinting at Arrow’s new role as a sibling.
The pregnancy announcement also came with a surprise for fans watching the Aug. 24 episode of “Big Brother: Unlocked.” While holding a wine glass filled with grape juice, Franzel revealed on air: “Victor and I are excited to announce that we’re having another Big Brother baby. I’m pregnant. We’re so excited!”
Franzel & Arroyo’s Journey to Parenthood
Franzel has been open about her struggles to conceive again following Arrow’s birth. In May, she wrote on Facebook: “Three years of trying. One miracle baby. And a whole lot of surrender. After our son Arrow, getting pregnant again felt like it should be easy. He was a one-attempt miracle. But after my C-section, the doctor told us to wait a year—and we did. Then came month after month of negative pregnancy tests.”
She went on to share how shifting her mindset helped her cope: “Eventually, I realized it wasn’t about what I was doing or not doing. It was God. It’s always been God… Maybe this season is holy in its own way too.”
Franzel and Arroyo first met on season 18 of “Big Brother” in 2016, though they didn’t begin dating until after the show ended. The pair married in March 2021, just months before welcoming their first child, Arrow, in July 2021.
Since then, the couple has shared the highs and lows of parenting publicly, from sleepless nights to leaning on family for support. Franzel has also spoken candidly about her postpartum experience, saying, “I just see people make it normal to bounce back and like I’m still 30 pounds heavier than when I got pregnant.”
