Amanda Batula shared an update on her recent split from her husband, Kyle Cooke, and revealed if she’d consider dating a “Summer House” co-star now that she’s separated.
During a Feb. 4 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Batula was asked if she’d ever take her co-stars’ flirtations seriously now that she’s single.
“No. Eww,” she replied. “Taking a page from Ciara [Miller’s] book and staying away from [co-stars].”
Batula confirmed that no part of her is interested in “taking a spin” with her co-star Jesse Solomon, who has relentlessly flirted with her over the years.
“No, listen,” she told Bravo host Andy Cohen. “I love my boys, but not in that way. Love you Jesse, friends forever. Me and Jesse are like scissor sisters,“ she added.
Amanda Batula Didn’t Rule Out Reconciling With Kyle Cooke
Batula and Cooke announced their separation on Jan. 19 after four years of marriage, People magazine reported. But during her WWHL appearance, Batula revealed that the two have been living separately since October. “Just before BravoCon,” she added.
Batula noted that there was “absolutely not” one final straw that broke up the marriage, but she admitted she regretted not having a prenuptial agreement. “Everyone needs a prenup,” she said. “But we’re going to be fine. But still, like, it could have not been fine.”
The designer and creative director also shared that it had been difficult having “the whole internet rooting” for her divorce, and she hinted that the negativity affected her marriage. “I mean to an extent, like, when you hear something so many times you start to believe it or think more about it,” she said. “But I’m not mad about it. I think it’s maybe something I needed to hear.
She also revealed that her relationship with Cooke was “great” despite their split and that they speak “multiple” times per week. “We just had our premiere party. He gave me a very sentimental shout-out. He had a lot of people in tears,” she said, adding, “There’s a lot of love still there.”
Batula predicted that it would “maybe” be her who starts dating before Cooke. When Cohen asked if there was “a universe in which you two get back together,” Batula replied, “It doesn’t matter what we, like what happens. It’s up to us. So like yeah, it could happen. It could not. Right now, probably not.”
Ciara Miller Gushed Over West Wilson on WWHL
Getty“Summer House” fans know that Ciara Miller had an on-and-off romance with co-star West Wilson. Things ended badly—and on Wilson’s terms. In a June 2024 interview with the New York Times, he admitted, “Ultimately, I think I handled the reunion horribly and was nervous and said the wrong things, but I still stand on the decision I made. I think our relationship ran its course. I hope that decision doesn’t haunt me forever, even though I still think it’s the right one.”
But on the “Summer House” season 10 premiere, Wilson appeared to miss Miller, while she hinted she was open to reconciling with him. “Only God will tell,” Miller told Solomon after he asked if she could see herself getting back with Wilson. “I’ve been praying about it.”
On WWHL, Miller was asked to name one thing she loves about Wilson’s unconventional fashion sense. Months after “Summer House” filming wrapped, she admitted she liked it all.
“I actually do really like his fashion,” the model shared. “It’s different. He doesn’t dress like everyone else. Doesn’t dress like a finance bro. It’s like not the same. He wears Tims. Love it. I love his [expletive] in jeans.”
After Cohen asked her, “Do you like his [expletive] out of jeans?,” Miller replied, “Very much so.”
She was also asked what makes Wilson “an incredible boyfriend.”
“I mean, his parents. He loves his parents,” the “Summer House” star said. “Loves his family.”
