Lala Kent is feeling the love from fans after sharing an update on her health. The former “Vanderpump Rules” star posted to her Instagram stories on Wednesday, May 14, to address a serious issue she has been having with her eye.
Kent, 34, told fans that she received “terrifying” news from her doctor, but that she was also grateful for the quick action.

Kent previously told fans on Instagram that she noticed a pink protrusion near her pupil and had been “obsessing over it,” even after seeing a doctor. She then noticed that the discoloration had changed, so she got a second opinion, and that eye doctor had the area biopsied, according to BravoTV.com. Kent admitted that she was “freaking out” over the situation as she awaited the results.
In an update shared with her social media followers, Kent sat with her baby daughter, Sosa, to deliver the news.
“I have an update on the eye,” Kent told fans. “So I got a text from the doctor that I went and saw last night at 10:30 p.m. I’m so grateful. He said, ‘The specialist can see you tomorrow at 9 a.m.’ So, I was there at 9 a.m., she looked at it, she said that it is pre-cancer, and she said, ‘I want to start you on chemotherapy drops.’”
“Now I know that sounds terrifying,” the mom of two noted. “I cried obviously because … when you hear that word [cancer]. She said, ‘I want you to do the chemo drops for three months. We’re gonna do a week of them and go off for three weeks, and we’re gonna do that for three months.’ At that point in time, God willing, it kills all the cancerous cells. If it doesn’t, we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it and talk about surgery. So there’s the update.”
