Rachel Leviss’ Life 3 Years After ‘Vanderpump Rules’

Fans were first introduced to Rachel Leviss (formerly known as Raquel Leviss) during season 5 of Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules,” where she appeared as James Kennedy’s girlfriend. The couple got engaged in May 2021 at the now infamous Coachella-themed proposal, but they ultimately called it off later that year.

In 2023, Leviss became part of one of reality TV’s most shocking scandals when news broke that she had an affair with co-star Tom Sandoval, who was in a long-term relationship with Ariana Madix at the time. The controversy, dubbed “Scandoval,” dominated headlines, with Sandoval widely labeled one of reality television’s biggest villains.

Leviss’ final appearance on VPR came during season 10. Now, three years later, after stepping away from television, Leviss is living a completely different life, no longer calling Los Angeles home.

It’s been nearly three years since Tom Sandoval’s affair with Rachel Leviss made headlines in March 2023, sending shockwaves through “Vanderpump Rules.” In the aftermath of the scandal, Leviss exited the series, marking her final appearance in season 10. According to Us Weekly, after the scandal, Leviss checked herself into a mental health facility for 90 days.

She didn’t just step away from reality television; she also distanced herself from her former castmates and left Hollywood behind altogether.

Speaking to Us Weekly in August 2024, Leviss shared she no longer resides in Los Angeles.

“I think the biggest is not living in L.A. anymore [and] not drinking anymore. That’s more of a promise to myself. I committed to a year of not drinking alcohol and I accomplished that and I’m just continuing going this route because I realized that I don’t need alcohol. Also surrounding myself with positive people. Those are the real life-changing lifestyle choices that I’ve made,” she shared.

Leviss now lives in Arizona, where she works as a mental health advocate and is a certified sound bowl practitioner, per her Instagram.

In March 2025, Leviss announced her latest career venture, along with a video of her doing a sound bath ritual.

“So grateful to hold space for healing and stepping into the role of a professional sound healer ✨💫 Thank you @schoolofsoundhealing for the teachings and @drishtiyogatucson for giving me the opportunity to hold this beautiful sound bath 🌷 Here’s to growth and new beginnings!!” Her caption read.

According to her Instagram, Leviss now holds retreats and wellness events centered around sound healing. At an upcoming retreat in Sedona, Arizona this April, she shared on Instagram that she “be guiding you on daily sound bath meditations, journaling prompts and restorative yoga flows.”

Is Leviss in a Relationship?

Leviss has been in a relationship with a man named Jason Boucher since 2024. Looking at her Instagram, Boucher was seen in photos captured during her trip to Italy in October of that year. That December, she shared a selfie with Boucher as the two went to see holiday lights.

In an October 2024 episode of her now-defunct “Rachel Goes Rogue” podcast, she spoke about her new relationship, describing her boyfriend as “normal.”

“Every time I describe him to my friends, I say that he’s normal and I show them a photo of him. They’re, like, ‘Wow, he does look normal.’ It’s such an accomplishment. Given my dating history, normal was not necessarily something that I was looking for in somebody else. He’s just such a supportive person and I just feel really happy,” she said.

In April 2025, Leviss posted several photos from her time at Stagecoach, including photos with her boyfriend in western attire.

In July 2025, she shared a heartfelt Instagram post thanking a friend for introducing her to her current beau.

“A year ago today a friend introduced me to this sweet man. Jason, you’ve expanded my world in more ways I could have ever imagined and continue to do so with every passing day. Here’s to many more to come, my love. ♥️ @j_bouch,” she wrote.
