Details on the ‘Shahs of Sunset’ Revival

On May 7, it was announced that the iconic trio, Reza FarahanGolnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, and Mercedes “MJ” Javid would be making their return to Bravo on the new series, “The Valley: Persian Style.” Fans were first introduced to Reza, MJ, and GG on “Shahs of Sunset” over a decade ago, and now they will get a look at what their lives are like today.

According to the announcement, the first season will feature, “Reza Farahan, Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedaghi, and Mercedes ‘MJ’ Javid” who “share an unbreakable bond — one built on years of friendship, fiery clashes and the kind of history that never fades. They also share a deep connection to their Persian culture, something that runs just as strong in the group of friends they now call family.”

“As they take on the next stage of life in the Valley, their world is bigger, their circle is bolder and their challenges are more real than ever. As we’ll see, their next chapter in life isn’t quieter, it’s just more complicated,” the announcement concludes.

Along with the trio, season one cast members will also include: Tanin Nikpey, Greg Haroutunian, Amir Boroumand, Natasha Kashanian, Sky Askari, Bamshad Akhbari, Tommy Feight, Adam Neely, and Reza Jackson.

Fans will be excited to hear that they won’t have to wait very long for the show to premiere.

“The Valley: Persian Style” begins Thursday, January 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.

First Trailer for ‘The Valley: Persian Style’ Revealed

The trailer gives loyal Bravo fans a sneak peek into the “heated” drama that will be unfolding in the first season. In fact, it kicks off by previewing a growing feud between Sky and Golnesa.

As the group enjoys a meal together, Sky begins complaining, “I don’t like to live in the Valley. I don’t like the food, I don’t like the vibe…”

Golnesa interjects, “Bro, we’re on a TV show called The..Valley!”

The tension seems to worsen between the two later on in the trailer when Golnesa exclaims, “I wasn’t raising my voice until you raised your…voice at me!”

Afterward, Sky seems to respond with, “I will drop you like the napkin that I clear my nose with” and calls out Bamshad for “just sitting there” during the argument.

Still, Golnesa insists that “it feels good to be back,” and later wonders where “the single men” are hiding. Newcomer Reza Jackson responds with a flirtatious wave.

Golnesa is also shown meeting up with ex-husband Dennis DeSantis. “I haven’t spoken to him since a week after we got married,” she reveals.

“Since ‘Shahs’ ended, we’ve all become, like, grown,” claims Reza Farahan.

Mercedes follows this sentiment up by pointing out that a lot really has changed since fans last saw them. “In the last five years, a lot has happened. We have kids now.”

Reza Farahan asks her if Tommy is “open to being friends” again after their falling out, and Mercedes hints at the challenges in their marriage.

“I just don’t feel happy,” Mercedes confesses in voiceover, before her mom, Vida, warns her, “you cannot teach an old monkey a new trick.”

Vida then sits down with Tommy to tell him, “she’s not happy,”

“Then she should get divorced,” he responds.

The pair eventually filed for divorce in October 2025.
