Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are embracing various new aspects of their personal lives these days. Along with the fact that the two recently got married, it turns out that Kelce also bought a new mansion not too long before the pair were married on July 3 during the celebrity-filled wedding of the year, which took place at Madison Square Garden.
Now, details have come out about the seriously sizable mansion that Kelce has added to his and Swift’s already impressive property portfolios.
Travis Kelce Bought a Lakefront Home in Ohio
If you weren’t aware, Kelce originally hails from Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and even attended the University of Cincinnati, according to People. That’s surely why it’s not so surprising to find out that the new mansion that he snapped up before marrying Swift is located in his home state.
On Tuesday, September 1, TMZ reported that back at the beginning of March, Kelce “purchas[ed] a massive lakefront mansion just months before his wedding.” The professional athlete paid $5.35 million for the dwelling that boasts 21,000 square feet of interior space, and gives its residents the choice of 8 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.
The home, which TMZ calls a “remarkable Bratenahl estate,” surely attracted Kelce with the fact that it “pairs Gilded Age grandeur with modern luxury.” It has also been fully restored and renovated, and offers its owner fabulous original details such as “intricate walnut and oak carvings” and stunning lead windows, as well as multiple fireplaces. That’s not to overlook the game room, billiards room, poker area, home theater, bar, ballroom, wine cellar, tasting room, fitness center and sauna.
Outside, Kelce, Swift and their guests can enjoy the 3.5 acres of land, which include a stone terrace, bluestone patio and heated pool that offers a view of Lake Erie.
Taylor and Travis Own Plenty of Impressive Properties
Both Swift and Kelce have connections to various parts of the country, which is why they have multiple properties across the nation. Beyond that, the duo have the funds to purchase the kind of homes that many people could only dream of living in.
For instance, Elle Decor notes that Kelce owns a 17,000-square-foot French Regency–inspired mansion in Leawood, Kansas, which makes sense considering the fact that he plays football for the Kansas City Chiefs. Fans may know that this is where he chose to propose to Swift on August 10, 2025.
Beyond that, Kelce also co-owns a home with his brother, Jason Kelce, and their mother, Donna Kelce. Found in Orlando, Florida, the condo cost the trio $335,000 when they picked it up back in May 2019.
As for Swift, in July, Realtor.com reported that “[o]ver the years, the 14-time Grammy winner has assembled a multimillion-dollar property portfolio that includes eight homes.” That includes enviable dwellings like her penthouse and townhouse in New York City, and Beverly Hills mansion, as well as a condo and property Nashville, Tennessee. Of course, that’s not to forget about her famously beloved abode in Rhode Island and a possible mystery home!
