Prince Night Is Here

We start the night with an amazing performance by the pros and troupe to “Let’s Go Crazy” by Prince. The couples are in place, and the co-hosts take the stage and join the pros and troupe. A very fun start to the show. The judges are in place, so time to get this party started!

Elaine Hendrix & Alan Bersten

It’s been a journey for Elaine, who has been dealing with a lot of injuries this season on “Dancing With the Stars.” They said they need 10s tonight to make it into the finals. For this first dance, they are performing a Foxtrot to “I Wanna Be Your Lover.”

While I enjoyed this performance, I feel she almost seemed to be counting and trying to keep all the dance moves in her head. It didn’t seem as smooth as she had been, maybe a little stiffer. However, she seemed to be very happy with it.

Judges’ Feedback: Carrie Ann said she was sophisticated, smooth, and strong. Nothing was wrong with the dance, but she wanted her to push some more. Derek said that was beautiful, truly incredible foxtrot. Bruno said radiant, as ever. She is a great performer.

Judges’ Scores: 27 out of 30

Alix Earle & Val Chmerkovskiy on ‘Dancing With the Stars’

They earned their first perfect score of the season last week on “Dancing With the Stars” season 34. For their first dance, they are performing an Argentine Tango to “Little Red Corvette.” She said she wants to unlock a different version of anything she thought she could be.

First of all, this has to be a perfect dance style for this song choice. They have been getting better and better each week, and I have to think she could be a favorite to win it all on “Dancing With the Stars” season 34. This was a very strong first dance for them.

Judges’ Feedback: Derek said he didn’t like it, but he loved it. Bruno said the shapes, the lines, the bodywork…top notch. Carrie Ann said that out of all the competitors, she has grown the most steadily.

Judges’ Scores: 28 out of 30

Whitney Leavitt & Mark Ballas

Whitney & Mark also earned a perfect score last week, and ended up tied for the top of the leaderboard. For their first dance, they are performing a Cha Cha to “1999.” Mark said this is a very important dance, but they are going to have fun at the same time.

They are definitely having fun with this one. It seems they got a little disconnected during one of the movements, but they did a good job. This was an entertaining routine, and their facial expressions were selling it, for sure.

Judges’ Feedback: Bruno said everything you wanted from a cha cha was there, and the level of difficulty was incredible. Carrie Ann said a wonderful dance. She could see her focusing on the technique, which she normally doesn’t do. Derek said Carrie Ann, you are out of your mind. That was literal perfection.

Judges’ Scores: 29 out of 30

Dylan Efron & Daniella Karagach on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ 2025

They had a perfect week last week on “Dancing With the Stars” season 34. They have worked hard, and are now in the semifinals. For this first dance, they are performing a Tango to “I Would Die 4 U.” He has a hard time keeping his butt in, so they are trying to work on that tonight.

This was a good performance. He has improved a lot this season. And who is that in the audience? Oh, his brother, Zac Efron, is here cheering him on tonight!

Judges’ Feedback: Carrie Ann said impressive, very smooth. There was a little mess-up with the footwork, and he felt he wasn’t feeling the music. Derek said overall, that was fantastic. Bruno said his butt was beautifully under control.

Judges’ Scores: 27 out of 30

Jordan Chiles & Ezra Sosa

She said making the semifinals is like making the Olympic trials, and the competitor in her is definitely coming out. Jordan performed to a Prince song during her junior year at UCLA. She got 10s then, so can she do it tonight? For this dance, they are performing a Jive to “Raspberry Beret.”

When things kicked off, it seemed like Ezra was bouncing off the walls with energy, and Jordan was more lowkey. However, as the dance went on, she picked it up, and they were working that dance floor. They were having fun, and it was fun to watch.

Judges’ Feedback: Derek said it was fresh and so fantastic. He wanted more attack and bite in the movement. Bruno said it was so fast that she lost a little bit. Carrie Ann said that for her, that was the best performance of the night so far, but there was a mess-up.

Judges’ Scores: 27 out of 30

Robert Irwin & Witney Carson on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 34

They earned their first perfect score of the season last week, which also happened to be to a routine dedicated to his dad. Robert said that meant a lot to him. For their first dance, they are performing a Jive to “Baby I’m a Star.”

First of all, the pants are amazing on him. They had a lot of energy for this one. They were having fun and doing flips, and I was impressed.

Judges’ Feedback: Bruno only for Prince would a superstar jive work, and he did that. Carrie Ann said that is how you tell everyone that you demand to be in the finale. Derek said that Jive had it all, and it was incredible.

Judges’ Scores: 30 out of 30, the first perfect score of the night.

Elaine Hendrix & Alan Bersten Second Dance

The second set of dances is here. For this second dance, Elaine & Alan are performing a Paso Doble to “When Doves Cry.”

They brought the intensity to this one. Alan is showing off some chest to win some votes, too! I feel like they were pretty solid on this one, and again, she is super happy with herself after this one.

Judges’ Feedback: Carrie Ann runs to hug her, saying that was amazing, and she bows to her. Derek said it was a proper, beautiful paso doble, and she came with that fight. Bruno said that was an authentic paso doble. It was a regal performance.

Judges’ Scores: 30 out of 30, and a total of 57 out of 60 for the night.

Alix Earle & Val Chmerkovskiy Second Performance

She said she has learned so much about herself during this season and is going to be sad when it’s over. For this second dance, they are performing a Viennese Waltz to “Purple Rain.”

These two are just too good. I always love watching them perform. I feel they are so good, and this was another strong performance.

Judges’ Feedback: Derek said it was a passionate, powerful Viennese waltz. Bruno said they were so connected, and she felt the music. Carrie Ann said a performance like this is going to go down in history. It was so powerful.

Judges’ Scores: 30 out of 30 for this dance, and a total of 58 out of 60 for the night.

Dylan & Daniella Second Performance

He said this was a marathon and not a sprint, and they want to make the finale. For this second performance, they are dancing a Cha Cha to “Kiss.”

Gotta admit, the booty shake and hip thrust to start the routine was perfect from Dylan. The red is definitely standing out on the television, too. This was very sensual, and he seemed to be having fun with it and definitely seemed more relaxed. I loved it.

Judges’ Feedback: Bruno said he has done so much work, and the difference in his hip action is incredible. Carrie Ann said she liked the attack this time, and he felt connected to the music. Derek said the details, his hip action. It was so, so impressive, and he should be so proud.

Judges’ Scores: 28 out of 30 for this dance, and a total of 55 out of 60 for tonight.

Whitney & Mark Second Performance

She gets emotional talking about her journey on the show. Whitney said she has learned to be herself, and when she dances, she is herself. For this second dance, they are performing a Viennese Waltz to “Slow Love.”

This was definitely simple, yet elegant. They were graceful and looked very good out there. A very strong performance from them.

Judges’ Feedback: Carrie Ann said that it was her absolute favorite from her. It felt so authentically her. Derek said she shows up and delivers and she dances. Bruno said she is immensely talented.

Judges’ Scores: 29 out of 30 for this dance, and a total of 58 out of 60 for tonight.

Jordan & Ezra Second Performance on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 34

Jordan said this is going to be a make-or-break moment. She told Ezra to work her on this, and do whatever he needs to do. For this second dance, they are performing an Argentine Tango to “U Got the Look.”

Despite kicking Ezra a lot in rehearsals, they got it together for this performance. She was very solid, and the kicks were great. He was whipping her around with the flips, but they made it work, and I loved it.

Judges’ Feedback: Derek said that it was a top performance. He loved the lines and smooth, slick tricks. Bruno said she was so strong, and she was the leading lady of the dance. Carrie Ann said she is in a class of her own. She is taking big risks and doesn’t sacrifice who she is.

Judges’ Scores: 30 out of 30 for this dance, and a total of 57 out of 60 for the night.

Robert & Witney Second Performance

He said he is walking a path that his sister forged. He feels privileged to follow that path, but now it’s time to make it his own. For this second dance, they are performing a Viennese Waltz to “WOW.”

I mean, can they do anything wrong? Another great dance for this couple. Can we give them the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy yet?

Judges’ Feedback: Bruno said that it was so thrilling, and he wants to see the sequel. Carrie Ann said he drew us in a different way tonight, and this is the evolution of dance she loves watching. Derek said that a ferocious Viennese waltz.

Judges’ Scores: 29 out of 30 for this dance, so a total of 59 out of 60 for the night.
