“Dancing With the Stars” alum Alix Earle is reportedly at peace following her breakup from Braxton Berrios and she wants the same for him.
According to Us Weekly sources, Earle “isn’t fazed” by the idea of her ex moving on and “wants him to be happy,” adding that while she is still on her “healing journey,” she has moved forward and is “in a good place right now,” per Us Weekly. The insider also shared that Earle hopes Berrios finds happiness as well.
The update comes months after it was confirmed in December 2025 that Earle and the Houston Texans wide receiver had split after nearly two years together.
An Emotional Reunion and Moving Forward
Although Earle appears to be at peace now, seeing Berrios again was not easy. In a Feb. 25 TikTok, she revealed she ran into her ex for the first time since October at the Palm Tree Music Festival in Aspen, Colorado. According to reports, both attended the festival and related events over the weekend.
“It was honestly just really hard for me — really weird, really hard,” she said in the video. She explained that they did not speak the first night but briefly greeted each other the following evening.
“It’s weird when you go from someone being like your best friend to being a stranger in the corner of the room,” she said. “So that was tough. And by tough, I mean terrible.”
Since the split, Earle has been candid about adjusting to single life, previously sharing that she is working on being “OK with being alone.” While she has been linked to Tom Brady in recent months, a source told Us Weekly the situation is “not serious.”
A Mutual Decision After Long Distance

Distance played a major role in the couple’s breakup, per Us Weekly. One insider previously told the outlet that the majority of their relationship had become long-distance and that they “mutually agreed on the split.”
Earle later addressed the breakup herself in a TikTok, explaining that she and Berrios had been long-distance since June and were not seeing each other often, which made things “really difficult” for her. While filming season 34 of “Dancing With the Stars,” she said she felt motivated to move to Los Angeles, calling it a “scary” realization because it meant not being in the same place as Berrios.
At the time, she admitted she wanted to focus on herself and did not feel she could “be what Braxton needs.”
The pair first sparked romance rumors in March 2023 and went on to make their red carpet debut at the 2023 ESPY Awards. Earle confirmed their relationship later that year, and the two were frequently seen supporting each other publicly before ultimately going their separate ways.
For now, Earle appears focused on healing and wishing her ex well, as one source put it: she “wants him to be happy.”
