Alix Earle Sobs In New TikTok Video: Why She Cried Herself to Sleep Over ‘DWTS’

Alix Earle shared an emotional moment on TikTok last night, November 5, as she sobbed into the camera about how much she’s going to miss being on “Dancing With the Stars” after it ends. Keep scrolling down for the video.

The 24-year-old, who came one point shy of a perfect score Tuesday night, wrote on the social media app that made her a household name, “I cry every time I think about ‘DWTS’ coming to and end.” She called the experience “by far been the most fulfilling, nerve wrecking, and self reflective time of my life” before going on, “I wake up everyday so excited to dance, learn, & challenge myself mentally and physically. I couldn’t be happier getting to do this. Thank you all for voting & keeping me in. You have no idea how much it means to me. I will cherish this forever & ever. Beyond just dancing I feel like I’ve grown as a person and really getting to know myself. I can’t even begin to imagine this not being a part of my everyday life going forward.”

The University of Miami grad finished up her message by saying, “I know I sound so cheesy but I mean it,” before sharing that she’s “taking in every last second of this.”

Alix & Val Almost Got a Perfect Score Tuesday Night

Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli all awarded Alix and her partner, 39-year-old Val Chmerkovskiy, with perfect 10s for their Pasa Doble to Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ On a Prayer.” However, guest judge Flavor Flav flashed a 9, a move he now says was an accident, according to People.

The outlet reports the “Public Enemy” founder exclusive told them, “I gave them a nine which was an accident. I really wanted to give them a 10, but they wouldn’t let me change it.” They quoted him as saying, “”I went, ‘No. No, that was an accident. I don’t want to give them a nine. I want to give them a 10.’ But they was like, ‘Flavor, it’s already locked in. You can’t change it.’ I’m like, ‘Oh man.'”

In the meantime, Alix and Val will keep chasing a perfect score as they head into Week 9, which US Weekly says will celebrate the program’s “20th Birthday Party.”

Alix Earle Previously Cried About Rehearsal Stress

This is not the first time Alix Earle has admitted to crying about “Dancing With the Stars.” Around October 25, she posted a TikTok video in which she bravely gave a thumbs-up to the camera after revealing she’d left the rehearsals in tears.

She set her video to a TikTok sound clip which summed ups and downs of feeling like you “know it all” one minute, and feeling totally confused the next. She attributed the stress to “the first two days of learning a new dance and style.”
