“Dancing with the Stars” fans were devastated to see Brandon Armstrong and his season 34 partner, Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregui, eliminated during week 3 of the competition. After the loss, Armstrong seemingly decided to do something big to commemorate the experience. His fellow DWTS pro, Ezra Sosa, started the trend after his elimination with Anna Delvey in season 33, and fans are loving it all.
Brandon Armstrong Prepared to ‘Twin’ With Ezra Sosa
On October 5, Armstrong took to TikTok to tease the big event. “This is exactly what you think it is,” he teased in the caption.
In the video, Armstrong sat shirtless on a table as he held Sosa’s hand. He asked, “Are you sure?” Sosa replied, “Brandon, I promise you, you’re going to feel so much better.”
The video then shifted to show a tattoo artist begin to work on Armstrong’s back near his shoulder.
The next day, Armstrong added another video to his TikTok page. He quipped, “Thanks for the inspo @Ezra Sosa,” and showed off his new tattoo. In cursive, it read “pissed,” with a tiny 34 beneath it.
When Jauregui was asked after her elimination how she felt, “pissed” was her response. Her response was immediately likened to what Delvey said during her season 33 elimination. She said she would take “nothing” from the experience.
Shortly after their season 33 elimination, Sosa got his very first tattoo, and it read “nothing” with a small “33” below it. Now, Armstrong has followed suit with his first tattoo, which was put in almost exactly the same spot.
In the comment section of Armstrong’s tattoo reveal, Sosa wrote, “Love our matching tattoos.”
The DWTS Family & Fans Had a Big Reaction to Armstrong’s Tattoo
Sosa also shared a hilarious video on his Instagram page. “Twins” he captioned the post. It showed Sosa and Armstrong showing off their matching tattoos.
Some “Dancing with the Stars” fans weren’t fully convinced that Armstrong went through with getting the actual tattoo. Those who did believe it thought it was a hoot.
Season 34 contestant Danielle Fishel commented, “Iconic.”
Co-host Julianne Hough wrote, “Omg!!!!!!!” Season 33 alum Tori Spelling shared a similar comment.
Judge Derek Hough joked, “This is just irresponsible … here for it.”
One fan joked, “Brandon entering his villain arch with the most wholesome villain ever.”
Another commented, “I literally thought that would be funny if Brandon got a tattoo like Ezra RIGHT after she said that.”
On Sosa’s TikTok, contestant Jen Affleck wrote, “IM DYINGGGG.” On Armstrong’s, she added, “This is incredible.”
Several fans made note of the “twins” video being taken while Armstrong had the tattoo stencil on his shoulder, before the actual work was done. Some said they wouldn’t believe he actually went through with it until they saw the tattoo in black ink.
So far, it doesn’t appear that Armstrong has shown off the finished tattoo in black ink. Did he really go through with getting it? “Dancing with the Stars” fans are getting a kick out of his twinning with Sosa over iconic tattoos, and they’ll be eager to see if it’s the real deal.
