Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert have finally announced the birth of their daughter. It is an announcement that “Dancing with the Stars” fans have been eagerly awaiting, and it feels like it has taken forever for the couple to share their happy news. But that news came on Monday, January 5, and fans, loved ones, and Hough’s DWTS family could not be happier.
DWTS Pros Show Derek Hough & Hayley Erbert Some Love
Hough and Erbert shared the birth of their rainbow baby with a black-and-white photo on Instagram showing her tiny feet. Both mom and dad have their hands lovingly wrapped around her. It is a beautiful picture. In the caption, they shared more details, including her name and date of birth. “December 29, 2025. Everley Capri Hough,” they wrote. “Every step of our lives has led us to you. Our hearts have been cracked wide open, and our world is forever changed.”
Reactions have been pouring in since the announcement, including loving messages and congratulations from other DWTS pros. Hough’s sister, Julianne Hough, led the reactions, sharing a sweet message about her niece. “Welcome to the world sweet angel Everley,” she wrote.
Longtime DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba reacted, writing, “congratulations!!!! Welcome Everley.”
Season 34 competitor and finalist, Dylan Efron, also showed some love. “She’s going to be so loved,” he wrote, followed by a red heart emoji.

Hough shared his gratitude for a brilliant 2025 in an Instagram post on January 2, highlighting the year’s most memorable moments. In the caption, he also expressed excitement for the good things that 2026 will bring!
