“Too Hot to Handle” star Harry Jowsey made his ballroom debut during “Dancing With the Stars” season 32. He partnered with freshman dancer Rylee Arnold and ultimately finished in sixth place, just before the season finale.
Although Harry’s dynamic with the cast has changed following his time on the show, he’s thankful for the kind words from one particular competitor.
Harry Jowsey Clarifies His Current Dynamic With the “DWTS” Cast
Some “Dancing With the Stars” partnerships lead to lifelong friendships. However, that isn’t always the case. “Perfect Match” alum Harry Jowsey recently appeared on Danielle Fishel’s podcast, “Pod Meets World,” and discussed his time on the show.
Harry admitted that he isn’t close with the “Dancing With the Stars” cast any longer. Even so, one professional dancer reached out to him during a dark chapter in his life.
On Dec. 4, 2024, the Netflix star shared that his father passed away.
“I love you Dad, I miss you,” Harry captioned the post, attaching many sweet family photos. “I’ll catch you on the other side ❤️✨🕊️”
The Australian native didn’t provide details regarding his father’s death, but did thank his audience for their kind words.
“Thanks for all the lovely messages ❤️ love you all, hug your parents,” Harry wrote in his Instagram stories.
“These last few months haven’t been easy in the slightest but I just want to thank my friends for being there through it all,” he followed with another post.
In the interview, Harry expressed disappointment that he didn’t hear from more of his “DWTS” castmates. However, he felt thankful that fellow Australian Sasha Farber reached out.

Sasha Farber wasn’t a pro dancer during “Dancing With the Stars” season 34, but still remained an integral part of the show. Fans frequently spotted him in the background of scenes. He also made an appearance in several of his colleagues’ social media posts.
Regardless of his role in the show, Sasha seems to maintain incredibly strong relationships with his castmates. He and his ex-wife, Emma Slater, even seem to maintain a friendly relationship, as proved by their latest Instagram video.
“*If you can’t handle that exes can be mature and can be friends, I’m sending you love and positive vibes but I also know it’s not my problem to solve 🥰 meant with love, I’ve just healed moved on from that,” Emma captioned the video.
“Dancing With the Stars” is expected to return to ABC for season 35 this fall.
