Rylee has always been open and honest about her health journey after receiving a type 1 diabetes diagnosis as a teenager. Ahead of the 2026 tour season, she cited her health issues as the main reason for her departure.
However, the 20-year-old recently had some positive news to share with her wide fanbase regarding upcoming tour dates.

“I am going to be going on the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Live Tour!” the 20-year-old shared before squealing in delight and clapping her hands. “My first show is March 6 and I will be dancing until March 20. That has been my big secret and what I’ve been rehearsing in L.A. for!”
Rylee went on to share her excitement about the upcoming performances. She’s glad to be back in the ballroom, but also can’t wait to meet her fans.
“I’m not gonna lie, it has been so hard for me to miss out on the rest of the tour,” Rylee admitted. “I have had major FOMO and before the tour even started, I had to decide to not come out on tour for the full length because of my health and I definitely needed to focus on that during this time and I still do. So I am just so lucky that we were able to figure out a way that I can come out for a little blip and still get that experience.”
The Utah Dancer Will Sub in for Other Pros on Tour
According to Parade, Rylee will fill in for her colleagues who have other professional projects in development. The publication cites that “Jenna Johnson, Daniella Karagach, Britt Stewart, and Brandon Armstrong … will all miss upcoming tour dates to participate in an undisclosed project.”
The outlet reported that the pros will take staggered leaves so they won’t all be absent at the same time. The dancers haven’t officially confirmed the details of their project yet, but fans remain eager to learn more.
In the meantime, the DWTS cast will continue on tour, wrapping everything up with a final performance on May 13. After that, they will get a brief window for rest and relaxation before they start thinking about “Dancing With the Stars” season 35.
