Julianne Hough Teases ‘Very Exciting Things’ Ahead of DWTS Season 35

The “Dancing With the Stars” cast is eagerly promoting season 35 as the big day inches nearer. Show host Julianne Hough can’t wait to return to the ballroom and entertain viewers across the country.

In fact, she recently teased that there would be plenty of surprises in store.

But as the busy competition season approaches, Julianne is looking for ways to slow down and savor each moment of life.

Julianne Hough Looks Ahead to ‘Dancing With the Stars’ season 35

As a professional dancer on DWTS, Julianne Hough won seasons 3 and 4 back to back. Now, she and Alfonso Ribeiro are co-hosts of the iconic show, keeping things running smoothly.

Julianne is excited to be back in the ballroom this fall and admitted there are special surprises in store for viewers.

“After a beautiful summer of travel, presence, and really soaking it all in, we’re ramping up for a new season of @dancingwiththestars and some very exciting things I can’t wait to share soon✨” the 38-year-old shared with her Instagram audience.

“As life starts to get busy again, I’m reminding myself that presence doesn’t have to disappear just because the pace picks up,” she continued. “Life is delicious. I want to taste all of it 🍑 What are some of the things you do to stay present when life gets full?”

In the comments, fans gave Julianne plenty of helpful tips. From meditation to journaling and some good TLC, there were no shortage of suggestions to help the dancer relax and enjoy herself.

And of course, the dancer will be spending lots of time with her beloved dog, Sunny. Fans suggested snuggling with the little dog to keep her feeling grounded amid the chaos.

The Professional Dancer Enjoyed Downtime in Italy This Summer

During the summer, the “Dancing With the Stars” cast takes time to relax and spend quality time with loved ones before the next competition season begins in the fall.

Julianne Hough certainly lived life to the fullest, traveling to Italy with close friends. She and her group spent time on the water and strolling through historic streets of the beautiful country.

“An ode to the nonnas of Sardinia… their sun kissed skin and the sense that they haven’t just spent their lives working but living,” the 38-year-old penned a stunning tribute to Italy and its people. “And boy, do I feel like the silly American in Europe. I love my work and my ambition, but when I’m older, I’d rather be the grandmother with stories to tell than wonder if I hustled more than I lived.”

“Grateful to @hotelcapodorso for reminding me to slow down, breathe the salty air, taste the wine, and watch those stories pass by over an espresso 🤍from spa to sea, grazie,” Julianne concluded.

Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough return as co-hosts when “Dancing With the Stars” season 35 premieres this fall. Fans can catch the first episode at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15 on ABC. There will be a second episode the following night on Wednesday, September 16.
