DWTS season 35 is just around the corner.
At the recent “Dancing With the Stars” convention, executives Conrad Green and Deena Katz revealed that this year’s cast will be bigger than season 34. So far, four celebrity contestants have been confirmed. But as the premiere date approaches, many fans anticipate there will be more exciting reveals.

DWTS Season 35 Features Reality Stars, a Baseball Player, & Talk Show Royalty
In recent years, reality stars and social media personalities have played bigger roles on “Dancing With the Stars.” Season 35 will feature Maura Higgins from “Love Island” and Ciara Miller from “Summer House.”
This year’s confirmed male contestants include Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” personality Guillermo Rodriguez.
But with the season premiere a month away, fans strongly believe there will be more leaked contestants soon. While it’s too soon to say for certain, there could be Olympians, celebrity chefs, and other big names that will entice viewers to tune in.
The Internet Buzzes About This Year’s Rumored Contestants
Cosmopolitan scoured the internet and came up with a list of names that could make the cut for DWTS season 35. As the premiere date inches closer, fans are eagerly discussing this year’s cast.
Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis is first on the list. While nothing has been confirmed so far, many fans have heavily speculated that she may be among this year’s competitors.
“Grey’s Anatomy” star Harry Shum Jr. is incredibly popular at the moment after landing his role on the long-running medical drama. He’s also close friends with host Julianne Hough, which makes him a prime candidate for the competition.
“Step Up” alum Jenna Dewan has an excellent track record with dance. Cosmopolitan reported that fans are currently making a buzz about the actress on the DWTS subreddit. She would certainly make an excellent contender for the Mirrorball trophy.
Taylor Hanson is a huge “Dancing With the Stars” fan and noticeably appeared in the audience during season 34. Cosmopolitan also notes that there are plenty of breaks in Hanson’s tour schedule, which could coincide with DWTS performances.
Olympians have always been wildly popular with “Dancing With the Stars” viewers. Many fans believe this year’s Olympian competitor will be none other than speed skater Jutta Leerdam. She’s also engaged to social media influencer Jake Paul, who would certainly draw in many viewers.
In the meantime, many professional dancers have already been invited back and have presumably been meeting with their celebrity partners. With just a month left to go, rehearsal time is of the utmost importance.
The full DWTS season 35 cast will make their grand appearance on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, September 2.
“Dancing With the Stars” season 35 officially premieres on ABC at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15. Fans should also tune in the following night on Wednesday, September 16, to catch the exciting second part of the premiere.
