Former “Dancing With the Stars” pro Edyta Sliwinska married her colleague, Alec Mazo, in 2007. Sliwinska competed in 11 seasons, with her last appearance in season 22 in 2016. Meanwhile, Mazo only competed in five seasons, but has the honor of being the first-ever Mirrorball champion. He won DWTS season 1 with Kelly Monaco.
After exiting DWTS, Sliwinska and Mazo went on to welcome two beautiful children together. They have a son, Michael, 12, and daughter, Leia, 9.
In honor of their 19th anniversary, the couple shared sweet family phots, capturing the lovely life they built together.

Edyta Sliwinska and Alec Mazo tied the knot on Spetember 1, 2007. After 19 years together, they couldn’t be more in love.
“What has changed after 19 years?” Sliwinska began her Instagram post. “We argue less, love more, have two children, two dogs, and our days are filled with things we love to do and with people we love to spend time with—even if with some we don’t get to spend enough time.”
The dancer attached several photos of the entire family, including their dogs.
“We both worked hard to get here, to build this family, this partnership, this friendship. You’re my favorite person in the whole wide world, together with the two little humans we created together. Happy Anniversary❤️” the dancer concluded.
Though Sliwinska last competed in 2016 and Mazo in 2009, they still have many fans. “Dancing With the Stars” viewers flooded the comments to wish them a wonderful anniversary. A few even noted that they’d love to see the couple return to DWTS someday.

‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 35 Unveils the New Cast
Edyta Sliwinska and Alec Mazo maintain their love and passion for the world of ballroom dance. However, they aren’t returning for “Dancing With the Stars this year.”
The season 35 cast appeared on “Good Morning America” on September 2 to introduce themselves to the world. From reality TV personalities to iconic ’90s stars, there are plenty of exciting competitors entering the ballroom this fall.
Sharna Burgess is returning as a pro dancer after a five-year absence. She is partnered with Bachelor Nation’s Tyler Cameron this year and looks forward to showing off his skills.
New pro dancers this year include “The Next Pro” champion Adele Zaikman and former troupe member Hailey Bills. Adele Zaikman teams up with “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Conner Leavitt while Hailey Bills is paired with “Love Thy Nader” star Sarah Jane Nader.
Fan-favorite pros Gleb Savchenko and Sasha Farber will not compete this year.
Fans can catch “Dancing With the Stars” season 35 starting at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, on ABC. The network will put out a follow-up episode the next night on Wednesday, September 16.
