Hayley Erbert took to social media to share a new photo, gushing over her baby. Erbert and her husband, “Dancing with the Stars” judge Derek Hough, welcomed their first child two weeks ago. Erbert’s new Instagram post suggests she’s thoroughly enjoying her early weeks of motherhood.
Hayley Erbert Marveled Over Having 2 Weeks With Her Baby Already
On January 12, Erbert shared a sweet photo on her Instagram page. The photo appeared to be a selfie, showing Erbert wearing a necklace as her baby’s little hand rested on her chest.
The necklace that Erbert wore had two charms on it. One was a cursive capital “D,” a nod to her husband. The other was a cursive capital “E,” honoring her baby.
On January 5, Erbert and Hough revealed the news of their daughter’s arrival via an Instagram post. They shared that Everley Capri Hough had arrived on December 29.
In Erbert’s new selfie, baby Everley wore some sort of cozy, warm cream-hued ensemble. Only her forearm and hand could be seen in the shot, with her adorable baby fingers splayed near Erbert’s necklace.
The caption of Erbert’s post read, “Two weeks with my greatest love.”

The Instagram post showing a glimpse of Everley immediately received loads of love from the “Dancing with the Stars” family.
Hough commented with a string of red heart emojis, and “Dancing with the Stars” fans gushed over what they were able to see of Everley.
“The little chubby knuckles are the best,” gushed one fan.
“Cute little hand. Such a beautiful precious moment, with her momma,” added another fan.
Someone else added, “Aaah my heart can’t take it.”
An additional response read, “Enjoy every snuggly second so happy for you & Derek.”
A different “Dancing with the Stars” fan wrote, “Congrats! Nothing like being a mom for the first time. Enjoy her they grow up so fast!”
“Dancing with the Stars” pro Sasha Farber weighed in with a string of red heart emojis, as did former pro Allison Holker.
On January 11, Hough shared in an Instagram Story that he “literally” hadn’t left the house in two weeks. His first big outing since Everley’s arrival was the Golden Globes, and he admitted that he was both overwhelmed and excited.
Hough and Erbert have lain pretty low since Everley’s arrival, waiting nearly a week to reveal that their daughter had been born.
They have also held back on sharing their daughter’s face on social media. While they may eventually do so, at least in these initial weeks of loving on their newborn, they have chosen not to show Everley’s face. Most “Dancing with the Stars” fans don’t seem to mind a bit.
