Julianne Hough is weighing in on one of “Dancing With the Stars” season 34’s most talked-about moments, and it doesn’t even involve a score from the judges. After contestant Robert Irwin revealed he’d received offers to join Chippendales following his shirtless routine with partner Witney Carson, Hough couldn’t help but laugh at the unexpected attention the 21-year-old wildlife conservationist has been getting.

After the shirtless routine, it seems that Irwin received offers to host with Chippendales. TMZ approached Hough about the job offer, and she joked, “I saw there’s this older millennial group of women trying to do the math to see if that’s appropriate or not.”
She laughed about this before ultimately saying that it probably isn’t appropriate.
Irwin, who has been a fan-favorite on every episode of “Dancing With the Stars” 2025, ultimately turned down the job offer. Hough laughed when TMZ informed her that he turned it down, agreeing with Robert, saying that it was “the right move.”
While she thought it was the right move, she did go on to say that he has the skills to take on the job. “He’s killing it,” she added. “He’s amazing.”
The “Dancing With the Stars” co-host went on to say that “everybody on the show this year is incredible.”
That has helped the show bring in a record number of votes each week, which Hough continued, “I just love that everybody’s watching. Thanks for watching, guys!”
Robert Irwin Confirmed Job Offer After ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Performance
After the news came out about the job offer from Chippendales, Irwin did address it while speaking to Entertainment Tonight.
In the interview, he confirmed, “It is true,” while laughing. His partner, Carson, was shocked.
Robert added,
“I’m all about anything to push the conservation message. But, yeah, Chippendales, sorry, but it’s just not quite. Mate, all power to ’em, but not for me. Not right now.”
While some fans might be disappointed by that news, he did continue, teasing “DWTS” fans, “I’ll take the shirt off now and again, but I’m gonna draw the line there.”
Hough Has Her Own Moment on Show
While fans are gushing over Robert Irwin every week, it looks like Julianne was having her own moment last week during Dedication Night.
While she and her co-host, Alfonso Ribeiro, were making their way out to the dancefloor, she almost tripped and fell on her dress. However, Hough handled it like a pro, laughed it off, and kept the cameras rolling.
